sure, the arcana setup is a basic one that we use for speedrunning its not the only one but its a general one. The arcana setup is 2,6,10,11,12,16,17,18,19,20,21,22 and 24. We use a save that doesnt have 13 unlocked so it is not active, allowing us to keep ourselves at 30 HP the whole run and use the Antler keepsake for 40% crit chance. You can drop 12 (DDs) for 3 (extra attack/special damage when not full mana) but it would only really help in erebus as its only base special, not omega. Still usable though if youre confident on not dying. as for Fear i do have Vow of fury on, VoF 2 infact. the setup is Vow Of Fury 2, Vow of Forsaking and Vow of Desperation. Vow of fury 1/2 is a toss up we're not sure if 2 saves time over 1 and it also makes enemies run away faster so can be a detriment but it does save time on boss phases like Chronos bubble. Vow of Forsaking is taken to make poseidon legendary easier to obtain as it can guarantee it in 5? poseidons which is huge. Vow of Desperation is a whatever fear, it doesnt save time, it doesnt lost time. its just for fun let me know if you have any other questions :D

@@drkfrst Thank you I figured 13 just isnt unlocked because i love that this setup just stays on 30 so easy, i dont know if there is a downloadable save for that but i should probably look into that. I really appreciate the explanation, i was never sure if Desperation actually did anything because it seems any runner has it on but good to confirm.

arcana is in description and fear was Fury 2, forsaking, panic and desperation.

You never unlock it, or download a save file without it unlocked

Artemis’ white antler keepsake gives you 40% crit chance if you have 30 or less hp

had a heart on the door with it. dont want to be above 30 health for the Antler keepsake

its just faster attack speed basically. thanatos and charon are both way better imo

there is also health on the left door he does not want max health to keep white antler active

There was a heart on the door, would raise max health and just make it slightly more tedious to keep antler up

Maxed out White Antler, 40% crit

Timer is paused in Hades chamber so it doesn't really matter for in-game timer. You'll see more enemies in the chambers after but his boon should hopefully make up for it

@@wmgriffin5602 I know the timer is paused but I think it pushes back the room counter so you end up doing an extra chamber compared to if you simply ignored the hades room. There is also the deal with the additional enemies as you pointed.

hades boons don't really matter in speedruns

trinket from Artemis - give's you 40% crit if you <=30 hp, arcana cards: The Huntress (no mana - +50% dmg), The Furies (+30% dmg to enemies in Cast), Origination (enemies with 2 statuses get +50% dmg) and, well, boons (hammer for double shot and Poseidon for splash + dmg)

it's an arcana card that protects you against the first 3 hits of every boss

It shows the description at the end. “No more than 30 health.” And they were only ever at 30 HP since they picked up no health increases

you don’t sadly, you just have to have it not unlocked (for the time being atleast, people have asked to make it toggleable)

Antler keepsake I believe

Vow of Fury 2 makes enemies spawn faster and bosses phase faster. Vow of Panic for 0 mana for the Huntress Arcana Vow of Forsaking to make Kings Tide easier to get and Vow of Desperation for..fun i guess

Time doesnt run in those rooms and Hades can give some decent boons. i think the goal here was damage when DDs are spent which is not ideal considering i only had the 1 anyway

@@drkfrst yeah i get that that clock's not ticking in this room. It's just that i heard Melinoё say that "more rooms = more enemies", don't know if it means that it will spawn more enemies with each room visited or it just means more fights if you take side rooms instead of progressing. Also since you had 1 full DD in Chronos fight you didn't even get +10% dmg from the Last Gasp?

@@Swageralt yeah, we weren't sure at the time if taking the story room made more enemies spawn. and yes taking the damage for DDs wasnt not ideal. I normally dont use no DDs so i just snapped to it without thinking about it.

@@drkfrst yeah, i figured as much. So does running more rooms affect the amount of enemies spawned or not?
