The American government funds NORAD more than the Canadian government because it is in their best interests to do so. But the heart of NORAD is burried almost 6000 feet underground in a Canadian province where it is quite safe from attack.

Australia has never asked France to supply them with nuclear - powered subs. Is was the US who offered Australia nuclear-powered subs as an arm sell. With that problem, wouldn't Australia be better off with French subs than probably getting US outdated subs?
