Russia DID NOT sell nuke subs to India, they least an old clapped out model. Brazil IS looking into nuke subs but they prob wont do it.

The concept is not about "national security" per se. That is just a cover for encouraging Australia to spend more ($360 Billion over 10 years to be more precise) money on weapons so as to provide business for the military industrial complex in the US.

360 billion dollars is the total cost of everything, including the servicing the subs. Over 30 years, iit isn't just to purchase the submarines. It's the total cost of the whole program. That works out a lot more expensive this time. Because it involves several sub platforms. And setting things up, including building ports for it
