Canada should stand it's own and stop worrying about the US so much. Our foreign policy should be more than about just the US.
and do what, your army isn't operational beyond your borders you relied on American transport and recon for afghanistan
@@franknwogu4911 britain doesn’t need america!
@@janeeire2439 yeah sure, lets see them handle russia alone
What a sad conversation about Canada.
Where are Canada's western naval bases?
CFB Esquimalt on Vancouver Island.
is this even a question? of course we do!
Okay, Canada do not have to have a foreign policy and we are okay as we are shielded by US.
Canada is basically a vassal state of the US
... and if the US pays the piper they will call the tune. Real national sovereignty costs money.
Won’t be shielded too much longer if you guys don’t step up.

We do not want stronger military, I feel pretty safe in Canada. Lets keep it as is and lead the world in innovation. Our might is in our innovation.
Lmaooo
Cut all ties with USA, we don’t need free loaders.
Trump was the symptom not the disease, u should get Aaron Mate on from the Grayzone to explain whats going on with the Empires.
Why don’t we spend more money on the military like the us? Seems to be going so well for them
Nope.
:O Canada is jealous of australia XD
Until it involves our own shores, why SHOULD Canada want to be "heard in these meetings"? Is it just about ego or what?
my graphic novels r as good
We need to focus less on the United States and the five eyes and more on building strong relationships with progressive governments in Latin America, continental Europe, and throughout the Global South.
We need better options both for ourselves and for the world than Washington, Beijing, Moscow, or *barfs* Riyadh, and we can't have those options until we're willing to start building them. :)
Europe and Latin America are raging dumpster fires.
Canada should look to Britain for leadership.
CANZUK is a great idea.
Canada is basically a vassal state of the US
please name 1 progressive nation in latin america? you rely on the USA for defense and for commerce leaving the relationship which is in your favor is not in your interest
Please do, we don’t want any more freeriders, more of a burden.
lpok at all the bpoks she reads
US: Australia is a better lapdog of mine
Australia: yeah!!!!!
Canada : damn it, I have to work harder!!!
you were already a lapdog canada
Canada has no foreign policy lol
Sounds like Canada shall blame itself for not entertaining the US well?
i mean you rely on the usa for defense so...
