YT is communistic if you did not know, and it is very poor judgement to do business with communism, so I won't be "liking or subscribing.
Now, how can I tell your vids will chuck full of YT ads? Not your channel, you just run it for them.
Did not even make it through the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning with out 2 YT ad interruptions. You keep it.
I don't want the communism that took over our free enterprise in my home,---even if they pay you.
We are not smart enough to stop it.
Nearly killing so many people at 200mph , makes you a “hero” ?? Being an abusive alcoholic to your sons makes you a “hero” ??? People are just getting stupider every day
God bless Dale jr & kenny
Barry Pepper did a fantastic job playing Dale and so was JK Simmons playing Ralph
I was extremely surprised by how good he was. I liked him in Battlefield Earth and his small role in Enemy of The State, but those were generic and kind of predictable (as they were I'm sure written to be in the first place). However, he put his entire soul into playing Dale. So much so that it got to where I could not see the actor playing Dale underneath. And they looked nothing alike but he got his face to look just like Dale with the angle jaw and Smallmouth to where it looked like him and that nasally exhale as as a laugh sounded just like him. It was a very moving movie. And his portrayal of Dale is what made the movie so powerful.
Dale ain’t dead he’s just one lap ahead 🖤3️⃣
Love this
I saw guy in Mt. Forest, Ontario, with a pickup up. On the back tailgate, he had printed " GOD, TOOK DALE SR., CUZ HE NEEDED A DRIVER !!!!!!!!! HAHAHA, I WALKED UP TO THE DRIVER OF THE CHEVY PICKUM UP AND CONGRADULATED HIM, FOR THE GREAT SAYING ON THE BACK OF HIS TRUCK. RIP DALE SR. !!!!!!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Yep that there's what we Callum here in Ga.Yes sir ree Bob 😊
He just qualified for the next race a bit earlier.
I can describe Dale Earnhardt in nine words: Loved by few...hated by many...respected by all...he is forever the man and I am forever a fan!
Don’t know many people who hate Dale freaking Earnhardt!! 😂😂 dudes one of 3 guys that has 7 cup championships and basically revolutionized nascar from 1979-2001.. RIP Dale we miss you bug guy!! 🏁🕊️🏎️
Everyone has a hero and Dale Earnhardt was mine. Haven’t watched much nascar since he left us because there hasn’t been no nascar without him in it. R. I.P . Dale Earnhardt the best driver that ever was and ever will be. May GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!! ✌🏻from Ga.
That was your hero? A man that crapped on and abandoned his first family and didn’t do much better with his second. He wasn’t much better in his professional life that he was at his personal one. I mean the main thing he is known for is wrecking people on purpose. I listen to Dale JR’s podcast and it’s popretty horrible to hear how his dad treated him. Honestly the only positive thing Dale Earnhardt ever did was make a lot of money. But look what he gave up for it
@@mycatsaliberal3848 😎
@@mycatsaliberal3848 you are horribly mistaken. I had a very similar relationship with my Dad before he died, and guess what, I wouldnt change a thing because that was how REAL MEN were made back then. Now a days all these kids are snowflakes. Worthless. Zero work ethic. No common sense. Most of them wanna be girls, or it, or he, they whatever nonsense they can come up with.... These old hard asses is how it was back then, and that is when real people were made.
Hey don't let anyone change your opinion on what or who you chose to like or be a hero.
I cannot imagine forming a personal opinion and sharing that without knowing him but just believing all you see and hear on TV. Dale had a lot of fans , I was one and like you racing pretty much died for me in 01. I was fortunate to get to spend a little time with him on his farm and got to see him win a Southern 500 from his pit stall or just behind , this before speed limits on pit road. Don't ever let anyone change your opinion on your chosen hero. Prob a Bill Eliott fan anyway huh? Lol.

Dale was rough around the edges....but he made Nascar what it is.....one of the best in my opinion
Barry Pepper is such an underrated actor! 🖤🖤🖤
R.I.P intimidator we miss you Dale
The ending of the movie gets me in tears. I don’t know if Dale had that kind of relationship with his father, but the movie director or whoever made it very believable that all Dale wanted was to be respected by his father. That was the reason why he drove the way he did in the movie. The end with him picking up child dale is one of the most hardest hitting scenes I’ve ever seen. Some people don’t get it, but for Ralph to welcome Dale to heaven in that entrance of that old out of date mill in Kannapolis…we’ll it just really shows you Ralph loved his son very much. Yes the movie skips over a lot of small and some big things in the history of Dale Earnhardt , but at the end it captures the essence of a race car driver, and the bond between a father and son, through multiple generations.
I agree. The ending scene is something that just gets to you. It put tears in my eyes the first time I saw this when it premiered on ESPN.
Well, the only way to really know it most of this was true is to ask people to actually knew him during his racing career or even ask jr
But that will probably be impossible
Well said my friend.
Dale always spoke highly of Ralph, although he said he was tough. He mentioned how he wished he could have finished school and the race where his dad helped him. He also wished he got to race him on the top level, and said that his dad would have won. He could tell how good his dad ran by the way his car looked, how his father wasn't reckless. It would make sense that this movie would focus on this and how he became similar to Dale Jr. Jr talked about his dad in a similar fashion on his podcasts.
There's a documentary made by EmpLemon here on CZcams. "There will be never ever another driver as Dale Earnhardt".
And what Emp concluded was that the only thing Dale Sr. wanted in life, was to race against his own blood. He only wanted to race against his dad, and this is why Sr. was prouder for Jr's acommplishments, rather than anything else he did by himself.
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid, I’m so glad it’s on CZcams in good quality!
This movie is one of my favorite NASCAR movies
I like how they included the lucky penny in this movie
I know the girls dad real well they have a store called the Lucky penny in Kentucky
Best driver ever....Big E.
I remember that day very well. Didn't think it was that bad. Heard the news later and it felt like a part of my family has passed. Racing has never been the same and I don't watch it any longer. I've seen the best and I don't care to see the rest.
#3 Dale Earnhardt
The last few seasons of seniors career i was a huge sterling marlin fan as im a mopar guy and it was great to see someone giving senior a run for a couple seasons. Seeing the bashing sterling got after thr fatal crash and the crash in general is when NASCAR was dead and gone with dale... Was never a big dale fan but cannot knock the man for handing out ass kickins rip senior.
I grew up watching this movie and the national anthem at the beginning is my favorite version because of this film. I was lucky enough to be a part of a pit crew for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Sport Challenge this year at Daytona, and hearing the national anthem from the puts of Daytona was easily one of the most powerful things I've ever heard.

The day Nascar announced they had lost Dale Earnhardt was the day we lost Nascar .....its never been the same
Never realized the Ricky Bobby connections. “Second place is just the first loser = if you ain’t first you’re last.” The young “I wanna go fast” ambitious racer kid, I’m sure Judd Apatow got a lot from watching this.
I always felt like they were mocking Southern folks. Never liked that movie.
Raise hell praise dale to this day!!!! lol
when dale died nascar died his son did his best to carry on the name and legacy and did great but there was no replacing that man. he was a hero for so many,i still remember the press conference announcing that he didnt make it was so sad
That's why Nascar is bigger than ever now right? Cause it died... It's biggest boom ever was the yrs after dale
Cheapshots died , for a while
How do you honor a guy who nearly killed so many people at 200 mph ? A guy who treated his sons horribly?? Whats the point ??
@@ChrisJohnny-ew7zuno nascar hasn’t had a big boom
At all. Since dales death nascar went downhill
A life of fear is no life at all, Go out there and Do it for DALE!!
A future Oscar winner is in this film(JK Simmons), and it's another great character Barry Pepper has portrayed.
Great movie. The Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr, your devoted fans forever. Dale was and always be the greatest. Yes, whoever chided me by commenting that Dale Sr is history and who cares about the comment I made but WE care and will always love and miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr, your fans forever. Enough said. Barry Pepper delivers a superb performance considering the inadequacy of the script.
thank you for posting this. New Nascar fan and am watching everything i can
I was watching that race he was doing well until when he was in the fourth turn will never forget the day feb 18th 2001 my mother passed on in feb 19th of 1992 almost 9yrs to the day may both rest in piece never for get 😢🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
call me crazy but the final race when Dale hit the wall.. i was watching it live and at the instant he hit there was a man standing on the top of the wall. i was puzzled for months about who he was.. then i looked up the family history and saw a picture of Ralph Earnhardt and it was him who i saw on the wall that day. scared the hell out of me and sent chills down my spine..
Is there a video out there anywhere that shows what you are referring to?
@@The_Real_RG3 I am unsure myself I've been looking for very specific sections of Clips but I haven't been able to find anything as of yet sad to say, I realize it makes me look a little suspicious and most people would believe that I was imagining it but it was just such a traumatic experience for me because the man was my personal hero on so many levels he came up poor and he fought like the devil to get out of the bad situation he was in Prospect wise. Right they should have retired the #3
That number should be retired
The day sr hit the wall is when I completely stop watching NASCAR it's just not the same anymore without him rip Sr you are definitely missed by millions 😢
I used to watch NASCAR in the 90s when I was an adolescent. My heroes back in the day were: Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte, Geoff Bodine, and last, but defenetely not least.. Mark Martin! And as an honorable mention.. there would be Ron Fellows.
3 LEGEND, ETERNAL.
Barry pepper brought Dale Sr: back from the dead in this movie: you don’t even think it’s an actor playing him when watching this film. This movie embodies what Dale Sr was and why the fans loved him. Greatest sports movie ever made period
Any chance you have this on DVD or Blu-ray that you'd be willing to rip for me? I can send you a link to upload it to and/ or walk you through ripping it if you need a hand.

To everyone saying they no longer watch Nascar. Do you believe Earnhardt would still be racing at age 72?
Yeah!!!!!😎😎😎
He wouldn't be racing, but things wouldn't have changed drastically if he were still here.
We had a local driver who passed, but drove late models on dirt track (back in the day he ran dirt and blacktop) til he was 83/84 yrs old! Look him up Bud Frazier "The Legend" Atomic Raceway Chillicothe Ohio. His son, Mark, used to race until his dad passed, and he walked away from it all. There's another one in his 70s who ran until he passed away as well. When these races get it in their blood, they are there til the end.
I love this movie
Was this film ever made for a DVD release?

When racing was racing and not wwf entertainment
Simply Fantastic Movie!
All he had to do was wear the HANS device. He’d still be here.
How many race car drivers have to die before they realize this equipment is designed to keep you alive?
His left seat belt tore at the part where it laps thru the keeper. I doubt the HANS would have helped in that situation, but watching this makes me want to get my boys to wear them.
L. O. L. I’m fairly certain the HANZ device was invented After his wreck and specifically because of His wreck.
@jonellwanger7258 the device was invented in the 1980s lol. It was out way before the wreck. Maybe do a little research before responding.

I was sad when Dale died, 2001 was the first year I went to the races. Every track honored Dale. Martinsville had a man dress like Dale every year I went.
Good movie but the ending wasn't the best.. him and Ralph in the main end was priceless
NASCAR was Earnhardt- he was the man to beat . Today is like a ball game or boxing with a time out .

Dale Earnhardt Jr and Richard Childress both have said many times that this movie is way off base and highly INaccurate. Thought you should know. I watched this movie long before I heard/watched Dale Jr and Richard Childress bash this film. They both said many things shown in this movie did not happen anywhere near the way it really happened. Leave it to the producers of Hollyweird to take what SHOULD be an incredible true story, and screw it all up with gross fabrications.
or the worst crash down the strsight end over end and no telling the rolls and he walked away !

A good movie about his life, but damn that last race is still so hard to watch even 23 years later. And you know, I haven't watched a single race since February 18, 2001 and the way NASCAR today is so f-up I don't believe I ever will again.
I'm done with NASCAR, have been since Dale died, and l went to races for nearly 50 years!!
What a great film; great filmography as well. I love how at 1:13:46 they focus onto turn 4, foreshadowing Dales death at turn 4 in the Daytona 500.

What does demonetized mean CZcams doesn’t like old movies? Is that what you’re saying?
Demonetized means they quit paying me. They claim that old movies like this are "unoriginal content" and wont monetize a channel if they have it on there. However if I did a react video while watching it I could still get paid because reaction vids are all the rage right now.

It was a freak injury but there was nothing "accidental" about the cause of that wreck. It's just no one wants to be the one to say it out loud out of respect for the family and Dale's legacy. Dale Earnhardt intentionally caused his own wreck so the two DEI cars that he owned, driven by Dale Jr. and Michael Waltrip would win both 1st and 2nd in the Daytona 500, no matter what. Dale knew everyone was piling up behind him ready to break the draft to make a run at the two DEI cars in the lead. I'm sure Dale thought it would just be a minor pile-up that would be bad enough to let his two cars win but not bad enough for serious injuries. I was surprised when he didn't just hop out of the car as usual and yea, if Dale Sr. lived? He would have been in a LOT of trouble with NASCAR for fixing the race outcome but no one talks about that either. 😄
For one, it's real bad to speak Ill of the dead. For two, you've never been half that fast in your life.
If anything happens in your mom's basement, you could hit the floor at around 7 miles per hour. That's enough to severely hurt you, even kill you hit a stair, but nobody plans a 200 mile an hour crash because you can't.
