This looks like the perfect game to play with my son. But I just want to say I absolutely love the depth of your reviews with combat and gameplay systems. I nerd out really hard to that stuff haha. Can’t wait to see the future reviews this month! You nailed it dude!

I love the fact that playing the game as every turtle alters some boss fights. For example you can unlock Casey Jones by playing one stage as Raphael. In another you can unlock Hun by playing as Mikey.

That is actually really cool that Konami had an in-house team drawing some of the cutscenes even if they weren't up to the higher standard of the actual cartoon. Is Mikey smoking a cigar in his profile pic in the top left hand corner?? Ah the old classic, beat the game with all four characters to get the true boss ending. I love the Christmas (Easter?) Egg. We all know how I feel about mouths not moving during cutscenes... Never played a TMNT game but this one looks better than the NES ones haha. Great video and review, GCG, congrats on 1K!

EAT FEET, EAT FEET, EAT FEET!!!

  • @Icebot7

I love the Notes From The Underground stage 4 music! Also what’s really annoying is how Mikey says eat feet nonstop as he glides with his nunchucks.

Looks like I have another game to add to the collection at some point! Never played this before, but only 2 player is a bit of a let down.

I hope Konami and Nickelodeon work on trying to remaster this game.

I really enjoyed the intro to this video! Being a Turtles fan for years, this game looks like it would’ve been a lot of fun. I could easily see how the repetition can probably get old, but the art style and the combat would probably be a joy to play.

Crazy how the cutscenes do make the visuals look worse. But the gameplay graphics really hold up. It may be repetitive but that’s par for the course Nd still makes for some good gameplay. Also loved the opening...That’s right a GameCube Galaxy Production!!!!! Awesome my friend. TMNT month starts strong

The repetitive voices would annoy me to hell lol. Love the structure of these reviews as always. Very professional

Love the Cell-shading! I remember playing Battle Nexus but I somehow skipped out on this one 🤔 As you said, you csn def tell there was some time constraints. Missed opportunity on the dialogue scenes between the turtles. Not having the characters mouths moves felt super unfinished. Unless maybe they were going for that anime/comic book style ? Not being able to swap characters, though not deal breaking is def another missed opportunity. Overall looks like a fantastic co-op game! Stellar review brother! Appreciate your work on this!

Oh man, I was obsessed with this show back in 2004 to the point where I was singing along the opening theme. Then a couple years later I went to McDonald's with my parents and in the GameCube kiosk this was installed and I HAD to try it; next thing you know I didn't even touch my cheeseburger because I lost track of time just having fun playing and eventually I rented a copy and played through the whole thing. Good, relaxing times!
