A request by one of our subscribers on how to remove the stereo on a VW Transporter T6.1. As long as you have a Genuine Volkswagen Stereo installed this "How To" will show you how to remove it.
The main important thing is removing the Trim / Dash around the Main Dashboard / Clocks before trying to remove the fascia around the stereo system.

Hi this is a very informative video. If I were to upgrade to a discovery media package, would the trim around need to be different? Also do you know on the entry level infotainment system, you can upload the radio logos to the corresponding stations, I can't seem to work it out?

Hi, very clear instructions there. Thanks. Do you have a similar one for installing a retro 12v socket to the dashboard surface. I see in this video that one is installed which seems ideal for dashcams etc

Have you guys looked into the virtual cockpit retrofit for the T6.1 yet? Something I would be interested in once my T6.1 arrives later this year!

I expect it will be possible but like with all VC / AID Systems, it’s mega expensive as a retrofit

Did the "basic model" on the t6.1 accept a reversing camera? Which one did you fit?
