    I have also seen a bad sensor do this where it’s pegged and the ecu thinks it’s doing good but it’s the wrong value. More so in my Subaru than my 08 Cummins but the right sensors are critical.

    I don’t know what ecu your running but it could be referencing a different map than you think IV had to just change all the safety maps one at a time and it seams one reference map is the bastard file you have to find and change to suit. Yes you have to look at every file and in detail. At home with no distractions

    i bet it has to do with the intake or exhaust runners in the head, since cummins did not use DEF till 13 yet gm and ford started in 11. only thing i can come up with.

    Intresting to see. Really cant wait to see what was the issue with that stock head. Did it have valvesprings to help with the lift and duration of the new cam or was it being pushed to hard? I'm not sure what the specs are no the 188/220, but very interesting non the less!

    Not to be “ that guy “. But would the rail modifications that were done here be a safe or reliable mod for a deleted and tuned, stock turbo truck? Would it make a noticeable power increase in my situation or is it not worth tampering?

    About what torque was it making when it bent the rods? Im deciding where I should limit mine. Or if it's too far from my goal, if I should get rods.

    my 2010 is low on power also. Heres my setup. Stock injectors, stock head, Aurora 4000 Turbo, Stock tranny, Stock ECM. Stock CP3. Pusher 3.5 intake, 4" turbo back exhaust, Revmax billet valve body. I did check for and fixed the boost leaks. I can't hit 600 on any dyno LOL. Whats wrong?

    • @markrich3271
      @markrich3271 Před 2 lety

      You need bigger injectors. Fuel = power in a diesel and your turbo cools it i. Layman's terms.

    • @kylefolsom6208

      When you pushing 1000+ hp your adding extra fuel to keep the cylinders cool, run a diesel lean at that kinda power and your burning pistons, valves and everything else. And gale banks isn’t making the kinda power these boys are making, at least not reliable power that will last for years to come... and also these dude are creating shity preloaded tunes like H&s that increase the timing till you melt down the engine, not even comparable
