    Love the look of the paint, definitely goes well with this era of truck. The headlights also look decent as well.
    If it where my truck I would keep the rims the same to give it a stock look.

    Any Pearl coat, Gloss black, dark silver, or cherry Red paint job, street scene bumper, and a roll pan , billet inserts in grill, clean ass paint matched tow mirrors with switch backs, custom projector headlight build, chrome or paint matched ditch the amber and get clear reflectors and of course switch backs. Paint matched tails, and badass power driven logos in selective locations.

    Not a fan of the tribal. I would go with silver with a nice pin stripe set up and some classic looking bullet hole chrome rims and tires. As for headlights usually something retro fitted into the original housings works best. HIDs are hands down the best visual light patterns. I'm not a 4th gen bumper fan on these trucks. However, I am a 1st gen and 3rd gen owner, but I don't like mixing the body panels between the generations. Can't wait to see the engine build. Also if you can let us know how much the build costs.

    4th gen bumper is the only way to go if you like light bars. The paint scheme is awesome, definitely put some black wheels on it tho, (no bigger than 18s.. Don't need no KFC chicken buckets on it.) I really like the Sport bumper look as well, as long as you don't drive in rural areas when light bars are necessary to not run over deer, or cows.

    Blessings from Kissimmee FL. Here is my 2 cents. I believe the Truck looks perfectly fine as it is. Specially if it is your daily and you put it to work why even change it. However!!!!! Every now and then we get a ( Wild Hair ) and If it truly feels to you like a make over is needed then by all means. I am a sucker for the Original style or sport bumper, when it comes to the wheels Id take a hard look at it specially if you are doing a lot of towing and want a nice comfortable ride (yes Thinner tires on a big wheel looks amazing) but ride quality will change plus more meat more choices on tires when you have a blow out as well as better Sticky options if you need a bit more traction and less spinning. We all say oh but it looks so good to such a point we lie to everyone and even begin to believe our own lies and say oh it rides just like a brand new truck. But lets be real guys and gals the ride quality changes and its not like these trucks drive like a period correct family car anyways but do you want to worsen the ride quality any more? lol but once again if the looks are important I've always liked the way the pro comp rock crawler Extremes look, The head lights I wouldn't change till they look faded as to the color Well I have to admit I really like the blue that's on it I'm more of a solid color truck guy not so much as a two or three tone but Id make it all the same Blue you have on it already. I know Its a long winded 2 cents looks like this was more of a 99 cent phrase lol Many blessings to all and your loved ones from yours truly in my Hospital bed in Kissimmee FL Po Boy

    It is cherry! Well, getting there. Interior needs upgrades (along with all 2nd gens lol). I'm a big fan of the two tone tribal, looks great on that truck, and honestly I think the 4th gen bumper swap is very nice! I'd upgrade to smoked wheels (or black) and some halo headlights, smoke the tail lights, and it would be fantastic!

  • @hwork50
    @hwork50 Před 2 lety +5

    I think the bumper looks good but maybe you could make it more of a 2 tone top and bottom like they did from the factory in the 90's. Also, as far as wheels go you should go silver maybe some methods as they have a lot of good looking wheels that would fit your build. Headlights definitely need to be upgraded to something LED as there are products out there.

    What trans did you have in this truck? You seem confident with the trans build.

    Paint looks good. I'd go with a Sport front bumper and some 17" method race wheels with some 33s-35s on it.
