It's expensive at 400k dalasi for the year - especially that it doesn't really have much of a garden
That's what the owner wants for his property, we have no control over how owners value their houses. If if it's too expensive there are many other houses available in The Gambia of which we will tour soon.

What are your likes and dislikes about this house? 🤔
I am guessing there is no sprawling yard, which is a big plus for me. I never liked the yards in Trinidad, because of the creepy crawly creatures, that crawl into the house. What I dislike is that the shower floor, toilet floor and sink floor are all in one. After you shower, you have to mop the entire floor everytime, to avoid slips and falls, mildew and mold.

@@QueenJodiandAP $7,400 USD per year is cheap for the size of that house. They might rent that size in L.A. for $20,000 per month...just guessing. A new one-bedroom might be $3,000 to $4,000 per month, and that is not in a rich part of L.A.. Homeless are on sidewalks nearby. The Gambia beaches are clean. Take a look at Venice Beach on YT.
Do you have to pay upfront or monthly?
We can’t compare LA to The Gambia. LA is where the rich folks and some famous people lives according to the census bureau 2017 LA have over 4million people that mean the demands are high and that’s inflates the cost and shrinks the sq feet. I would say a fair comparison would be states like Alabama, Georgia, Carolina, Virginia and much more…..
Seeing that we can live live Kings and Queen on the Motherland it’s time to make a decision to go home 🏠 and enjoy the quality of life and the freedom with a fraction 💸 of we spend here.

Then stay in west is simple as that no one is begging you to relocated.

When it comes to The Gambia you have to see the value in what's before you.

@@FREETHINKER_99 Don't get mad bro, am from there and he is right to point that out. I complain about the same thing. I applaud Jodi for having the courage to show the street view. Many people on CZcams hide that stuff and someone ends up spending $ on what he has no idea about. Its good people know before heading out there, its a developing country just like all African countries. With a very few exceptions, you will driving through potholes filled with water in the rainy season to get to your house. Add to this almost zero landscaping with trash flying around., constant power outages etc. Not a problem for me at all cus I grew up getting used to it but it can be a nightmare for someone who spent all his life in the West. You add all this together , it would seem their houses are overpriced. Plus like most African houses, interior design is almost absent. This house here is beautiful from the oustside but interior looks like an empty warehouse. We welcome our brothers from the diaspora but its good to give them a little hint of whats out there. Aside from these issues you will enjoy your stay in Africa because people are nice and welcoming more than in the West.
