Why the bathroom don't have a floor seperation for the water..
Most bathrooms are built like that, however you will definitely find a few that are exceptionally done given the standard of building in the Gambia.
Do keep in mind however, that the country is a developing one. Hence there is room for much improvement.
Exterior is nice. Parts of inside like upstairs lounge is nice. But Inside space is a bit too tight especially kitchen and living room. No fitted wardrobes, no bathtub, lots of banging on furniture, which lets the house down.

There is no high crime in Gambia compared to what is happening in other countries with much better infrastructure and tracking systems.
Not to mention property owners have a right to build out their property as they see fit as long as they follow the building protocols.
@@queenjodi Thats a lie as I lived there until recently and witnessed no end of crimes against tourists and ex pats living there. Statistics won't show the truth because when you go to the police station the police want paying to investigate. Nothing is safe there and burglary is regular hence you having bars on all the windows in the properties that are built. If your house or compound hasn't got a security guard then you will be robbed and that is a fact so stop lying to the people in order to sell or rent your houses when you know this is a problem in Gambia. Its a unstable government and the wrong government could take foreigners land and houses over night as they did in Jammeh days. Even 3 days ago there was a attempted coup.
