And if your turkey is suddenly called to war, it’ll be fully prepared
I hate when that happens!
Lol
@@sam08g16 it’s the worst. Especially when your turkey has no right ammunition 😂😂
Haha i laughd from a bad day :)
We need to send these in bulk for the warring Turkeys of Ukraine 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
So what we learned here today is:
Never go for a sunday roast at Duncan's place.
Duncan should just say he’s not interested. Watching him trying to argue against something he clearly doesn’t know is funny
Well, that does make it more entertaining
I miss Duncan on the show - always up for a laugh.
if that is his experience of cooking dead animals - that is an indication of how it will be for other customers.. i just cooked a chicken without any tinfoil or fecking about with chain-mail.. and that was fine.. i would not want to feck about cleaning the grease off that thing every time i put a chicken in the oven..
@@dannysmum9744 I think most people know to cover a meat during a roast to preserve the moisture, it's fairly basic.
@@indeed1023 and yet myself and Duncan and a great many others manage fine without that..
Here we go! Chainmail armour for turkeys. Perfection
Lol true 🤣
Chickens.
For the great battle of Thanksgiving!
lmao
Steve gunna need to upgrade that diamond sword
After having seen how Duncan cooks it's no wonder he doesn't get why dry chicken is a bad thing.
🤣🤣
😂😂
Where did you see that because some of his comments then literally blew me away.
@@KotRFFXIV there is a video on CZcams, of Dragon's cooking for each others.... I was shocked to be honest 😄😄
@@KotRFFXIV Look up Dragons Den does Come Dine With Me
Fast-forward to today, we find that she initially made money from making chainmail for chickens, then the product line was expanded to include a shield and a sword for chickens, then she made money from rebranding a rust prevention spray that chickens can use to keep their chainmail, shields and swords rust-free.
...and roasting was replaced with jousting.
😂😂😂
Wow that's awesome!!!! Great success story
That really made me laugh
Funny, but stainless steel chain mail does not rust anyway.
Chicken = + 10 strength and +10 stamina
Lol
- 20 speed
+10 moisture 🤣🤣🤣
Duncan looking at a chicken burnt to crisp and looking like a piece of coal: ''The chicken's still ok, it's just lost all the moisture''
Peter: Youre asking for too much money.
Hillary: Youll need a lot more money.
Rest: I would need to ask my butler, if this was a useful product.
Let me rephrase what Duncan said: My chef cooked the roast and we ate and enjoyed it.
when would duncan have time to cook lol?
Deal didn’t close. Very little trace of them on the internet, only an ASA complaint about exaggerated claims on their website. The company was dissolved in 2017. Looks like they failed to get off the ground.
Too bad.
Chickens don't fly well, so with chain-mail they would never get off the ground.
They weren't ready. If they had the shield and helmet to go with it, the set would have been complete.
@@S.Trades
"You're a nervous flyer.."

How come no one questioned the lack of patent protection? Someone could easily come up with a similar chain mail at lesser cost and bankrupt this lady.
They are in the den for hours and it's cut to 10 minutes
Very true, good chance it was asked but edited out, usually a lot of the questions are edited out for directorial reasons

@Mac yh that's what i said...

if it -would have come- came with.....
@@MarshallLore And change the full stop for a comma, since it's part of the same sentence...
And a little helmet can't forget a helm.
I really liked the product and she seemed lovely. I think a big problem though is being able to tell when the turkey is safe to eat. If we were to fit a flowsignal
😂
Ha
Just after the first time you have to clean this product, it lands in the trash..
Lololololololol
😂 nice one 😆
Meanwhile 10 years later, we are still using tinfoil
And all the aluminium poisoning that brings with it. ;-(
@@markfox7764 It adds flavor 😉
Her face could do with the chain mail over it yuck lol
@@markfox7764 I'm still alive and I use it daily
I have no idea why people put tinfoil over their roast meats. You go from nice crispy chicken skin, to soggy steamy flabby stuff. The meat can rest on its own without the foil, it's not going to cool down THAT much 🤷♀
Chicken To-knight 🤔🍻
😂 superb
You have made me giggle 😅
AHAHAHAH))))))
😁😁😁😁
she argues very well! The cooking lesson was really a sales pitch. Smart woman
Thank you
It's all very Alan Partridge. Armour for turkeys; wetsuits for chickens.
If Duncan doesn't understand why you want to keep the moisture in, he must eat rubber chicken.
Go into Hell's Kitchen and give the scallops a 10/10.
if he's happy with the food he eats what is the problem, exactly?
YES THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK THE FULL LENGTH CLIPS!
This is a great product, too bad peoples mentality does not change. And the lady s a darling.
I agree, I would love a few of these for various meats and situations.
fr you can see a visual difference and she explained it well
Its a great oroduct, it's a little expensive but you only have to ever buy one in your lifetime
She got all the money but she had to give a lot away to gain a lot plus she gets their know-how and connections etc
I like it and I don't think £30 is TOO unreasonable either.
why should people's mentality change? their mentality is nto your business.
Tin foil is not bad for the environment because it doesn't break down, it's bad because of mining and the manufacturing process using a lot of energy. If you leave tin foil in nature it won't damage the environment, like plastic does.
Plastic is fine
Nothing wrong with tinfoil if the metal is recycled.
@@oystla re using is still best, takes a lot less energy
@@oystla The recycling process has a much smaller impact on the environment than mining, but it still has an effect. And the manufacturing of the foil is still the same.
Err. You can say exactly the same for plastic.
It is mostly made from crude oil.
So, nothing wrong with it if you don't mine it.
It’s nothing like tin foil. I cover things in the oven with tin foil to stop them burning and keep in steam. Chain Mail doesn’t
Just googled this... Debra and Peter took this product to Uzbekistan and they're selling the product to over 5000 independent stores. You will find the most succulent lamb and checked company house... It made a turn over of 6.7 billion Uzbekistani So'm.
Why do they call it tin foil when it's aluminium?? 🤔
Maybe it was originally tin foil?
This is tailormade for Medieval Times restaurants since roast chicken is the main dish they serve
well its been ten years and they are still around and being sold in a variety of different product ranges
Ah...but is there one in ever home?
@@MitchellTF It's definitely not in my home
@@MitchellTF well not mine anyway< I can't speak to anybody else's :)
@@makatelli This is the first time I've seen one.
I’m not sure I get it, I use a roasting tin. It cooks in it and stands in it 🤷🏻♂️
My first thought is ‘can it be thoroughly and easily cleaned between uses?’
Chain-mail for turkeys... now they will NEVER fear Thanksgiving or Christmas ever again!

Washing that would be a pain
Throughout the video I was like 'Don't give away half of your company .. it's such a great idea ..'
and she did it .. 48% is not a deal it's being robbed.
Didn't fall through apparently and the company dissolved.. So yeah I'd say give 48% for the opportunity and the venture alone.
These merry band of chicken brothers must have fought together on succulent St. Crispy's Day.
I actually think this idea is great. Looks silly but would thrive in today market with the current environmental mindset
Ok works with chicken 🐔 but what about other meats? Beef lamb pork 😋?
@Soviet Onion 72 Its works simular way untill you need to wash after use i am lazy not gone waste time tim foil much better faster cooks and no need to wash after ...

It's no horse armor dlc.. but I'm intrigued!
Peter isn't writing. He's drawing someone begging him for money.
Do you only use it at Knight?
What about hygiene?? How do you get the flesh bits of it after cooking??
I actually can’t believe nobody mentioned that.
Also you don’t even cover a chicken after you baste the fking thing. The product is complete nonsense.
Well its been over ten yrs and ive never seen any for sale 😮
Roast Cozy and Duncan's Tie @5:20 are both seeking your attention.
This is brilliant and every food dude would want one. I was nervous about cleaning but shaking it in soapy water, the friction would do the job.
I just buy a ready to cook chicken in a bag from Aldi. Coz it's in the bag, it doesn't splatter in the oven, so it saves the messing about!
plastic....bag?....you seriously dont put heat+plastic+food...then eat it!
@@SS-kp7hw it must be an oven proof bag but the chicken sits in a foil tray and you just pierce the bag to let the steam out. Can't believe you haven't seen them in Aldi! I think Asda do them and I know for a fact M&S do them coz I've bought one but they're a bit more expensive. Aldi charge about £3.99 and M&S charge around 6 or £7. They're delicious 😋😋
@@SS-kp7hw Nothing wrong with it, plenty of people buy already cooked chicken
there should be some irony somewhere in the chicken getting armour after its head was cut off.
Nice lady. Happy for her!
Come on Hillary, if you can’t afford to buy that then you can’t invest 😬
I'm sure she can afford it, just doesn't want to.
@@NeonMacabre I wasn’t being serious. She obviously millionaire.
She can use it cook some dalmations.
It would be a living nightmare to clean it after using...
Should have also mentioned the dangers of aluminium foil at high temperature on our foods. I believe there's a correlation between old age Dementia and the longterm chemicals that break off from these materials into our blood stream through food
And not to mention all the high refined sugar food, processed foods, too much carbs and seed oil. :/
I don't think any reliable study has actually shown any causation there.
@@BenjaminGoose A working theory I heard a few years ago is that too much sugar makes the cell's metabolism "devolve" into a more basic cell, and thus cancer emerge. Think it was a study from Japan and another from Europe.
Exactly!!!

Anyone seen Chicken Run? She’s reminding me of the farmer’s wife wanting to make her chicken pies 😂
I don’t WANT to be a pie!! 😫 … 😄 I don’t like gravy!
This is now made obsolete with the increase usage of steam bake ovens . In which the oven produces small amount of steam to keep the moisture of the items you are trying to bake inside .
It produces the most succulent meat imaginable! The gravy makes itself. Not so much a gadget, more an essential piece of cookware.
Ok, this is EPIC!!!!

“One day we could see £30 chainmail used solely for resting a chicken in every house!”
Fast forward to today and people are turning down free spuds cos they can’t afford the gas to boil them.

I like the product! BUT....My only concern would be how easy would it be to clean. I am surprised that the Dragons didn't pick up on the convenience factor of aluminium foil and whether this would be any good for wrapping your picnic sandwiches in. It would certainly be good for roasts and the like with the ease of basting, but whilst it would reduce the use of aluminium foil, it would not eliminate it. I also couldn't quite understand the conflicting statements of retaining moisture, but allowing steam to escape and the ease of basting.
Peter: so you wrap it around your chicken, before you put it in the oven 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀
The way debbie took so long, pretending to ponder and wonder and think, she had made her mind up within seconds, the pondering and wondering and pretending, was to make it seem like a much better deal and an offer she really didnt know whether to make or not lol Its quite funny
