I recently drove past a bakery 5 minutes from my house and it had a banner out the front saying world famous. I thought if I haven't heard of it and it is 5 min from my house, then majority of people in my state haven't heard of it, and outside my state, no one would have heard of it. I don't get why businesses attach world famous when describing their business.

If its good ingredients its worth the calories. I would rather eat a couple of nutritious cookies for 600 calories than half that in ultra processed junk.

@@vitalukathe quality of ingredients is better than average but it is still carb heavy and coconut sugar is still sugar. I wouldn't describe it as healthy food.

This is the great problem for healthier cookies: the combination of fat and sugar is what makes cookies taste great. You can replace the sugar with artificial sweeteners to slightly lower the calorie content and still have a great tasting cookie (which does not spike your sugar as fast). But when you start reducing the fat content to actually make the cookie low calorie, the cookie starts tasting bland. This cookie is high calorically for the same reason it tastes great, it has fat. If it had low calories, they would not have liked it. Funnily enough, what most health friendly companies do to market healthier cookies is, they use the artificial sweeteners, keep the fat content high enough so they cookie still tastes good, and then lower the portion size, to give the impression of a healthier cookie. In reality, you are just eating less cookie, which I guess accomplishes the goal of having less calories.
They're now selling a 12 pack of cookies for $70 on their website!

I swear half the products on this show are some vegan, anti glucose paleo friendly helps the sea turtles nonsense. As the entrepreneur breaks up crying over how their grandpa had cancer and this helped them through it and they grew up eating toothpaste on the street. And their product always costs like $20 for a loaf of bread.

Where the calories are coming from is more important , being plant based I'd be worried about them containing seed oils , but these guys have done so well on there own they don't need these sharks , must just be for the show
300+ calories for one cookie?! And you’re selling them in 4,6 and 12 packs?! A 4 pack will give you half of your recommended daily food intake. A 12 pack is almost double to recommended daily caloric intake. That’s bonkers!

Some of these sharks are so out of touch its crazy. Allergy friendly isn't a health trend its something real people have to go thru and they actually STRUGGLE to get calories since they have so little options and the options that are allergy friendly are always low cal.

This poor dude had to scheme his way to the show just to finally clue his girlfriend in that she farts too much. Created a whole product line of cookies and everything in the process. Legit hilarious I almost woke up the house laughing at this.
id rather snack longer with something that is 100calories and have 6 for 600 over having 2 of something really good because i wanna snack as long as possible for as low calories as possible. There is no chance id buy these. Kind of like ice cream, sure the super high calorie ice cream is better but icant eat a 1000 calorie pint. I can however get halo top ice cream and eat a pint for 330 calories and i prefer that even though it doesnt taste as good AND is more expensive usually.

If Shark Tank taught me anything, it's that you can ONLY be an entrepreneur IF YOU'RE MARRIED (or at least in a strong relationship). I don't think I've ever seen an episode where someone said they were single. And at least 90% of them said they were married.
