Short intro of myself and breakdown of the lmm. (First time editing & behind the camera)A lot more diesel things to come. IG: dmax_dante tiktok: dmax_dante
Good info. Been following you on IG for a while. Pretty awesome to see you push the envelope of what a stock motor will take. Your setup is amazing and really fast for what you have in it. Keep up the good work very interested and what you have in store for the viewers. Had an LMM then an LML and now a 6.7 cummins.
Solid first vid man…been a fan on ig for a bit. New to diesels. Recently inherited an 07 Sierra lmm..just the basics done to it so far but looking to safely add some more power. Looking forward to future vids
Sweet first vid!!! Been wanting to know what all was done for some time now to see where I can start with my LMM. I'm thinking of going a compound setup as the end goal. Only problem now is tuning, either tried by me or super lucky finding someone that makes very power efficient one. Cant wait for the next vid bud!!
Great set up on the truck! What helper bag set up are you running in the back? did you have to change to a different bag due to the amount of drop the truck has?
Good video yup lmm pistons are garbage. Have h&s tuner in my 08 chev and a few upgrades maybe 450 to wheels and my egt sensor died and was racing a Cummins done up and around 180 kmh my piston cracked and took out my turbo. Yay 😥. And now waiting for money to build her to 1000 hp daily driver. Keep up the good content.
Lml is literally a Lmm upgraded. Stock trans is awesome. Pistons are weaker in the lmm too. Cp4 failure rate is 7%. Just cost a lot to fix. Even then cp3s fail too….
15-16 is only years id say that’s an upgrade over an lmm just because of interior and body. Cp3s fail yes, but they won’t wipe out an entire fuel system. Lml is just the last platform I’d use to go fast with. The lml block itself is strong however. Hence why a lot of people use those blocks to build engines with.
I have a stock LMM and thinking about getting a H&S minimaxx and adding 40hp to it, will it hurt the engine and do I need a lift pump for it? Just wanted to get your opinion. Thanks
Lmm is thr best ever!!...i got a 09 as a project for 5k with 327k miles and i just maintain it and changed the coolant...no issues...just dpf removed

I just bought a 07 lmm. Wanted to spice it up. This was a great video. I've nevervremoved a turbo before. I think I'm going to attempt it myself. 😢
nice work Dante!
Thank you buddy!
Our channels seem to be on the same wave length…. I feel like I’m listening to myself talk lmao

Lmm is the best duramax ever!!!
Hell yes
No cap
How do you have the caltracs setup with the drop shackles
Does motor need to be rebalanced doing lb7/lly crank and pistons on lmm/lbz rods?

How do you not break the front diff launching that hard with that much power? I've never 4x4 launched mine it scares me
Do you build long blocks for sale?

H&S is junk. Recommend efi live and a lift pump for every Duramax.
Badass willing to sell any lb7 pistons 😉
What size tires you running and do they rub
305/50 and they do rub lol
Is your bumper painted are is it vinyl? Thank you
Painted
Stock cam or AF?
Stock!
