That orange color is absolutely amazing and the blue parts highlight it perfectly. The chrome rims look great with the orange and the blue nuts also looked great reflecting off the chrome. The truck is yours, let the haters hate in their boring black or otherwise tasteless trucks.
I don’t understand the hate on the orange, Not my choice but can 110% appreciate the build and the quality behind it. It’s cool and unique🤘🏻 Keep the orange wheels, it fits it perfect👌🏻
IMHO that is NOT the ugliest Duramax on the internet. My personal preference is painted=matching wheels. Kinda sets itself apart from your Denali and WifeMax. But hey...it's your truck!! Looks great either way!!
I'll stand alone all day in saying I prefer the orange wheels for sure. Especially if the truck had a pinstripe or something to separate the solid orange on the truck. Awesome Job either way Josh!
Been saying that about the strip. A blue pinstripe down the body line will break up all the orange.
Sunkist orange wheels for sure! EVERYONE has chrome. Don't change them. The first idea always turns out to be the best.

The orange wheels looked really good on that truck. But man, when you put the chrome wheels on there, it just set that thing off and it looks amazing!

I say keep the orange wheels! The chromes look good but I think it's a bit cliche. The orange wheels are different and more eye-catching in my opinion!

I like the chrome look but it’s your right so you do you, but get it all put back together before you make a final decision. Try a set of black wheels with milled accents like some hostile wheels.
Chrome wides are so over played, luv the orange on orange, with the blue. So fresh looking.

Josh I’m glad you mentioned lifting the truck. Maybe not this truck but maybe the red truck or wife max but I would love to see a duramax straight axle build with a Dana 60 if you ever consider something like that. Love the orange build. It’s yours so make it what you want and enjoy it. Us Florida Gator fans love the orange and blue.
The truck is really coming along nicely, as for the naysayers they aren't paying the bills so it doesn't matter what they think as at the end of the day it's what you want.

Love the orange. I’m more of a chrome guy but it’s also very nice to have painted wheels too. Wash them and go vs clean and polish. But for the summer definitely chrome.
The orange truck looks awesome. Tough choice between the chrome or orange wheels, but I lean toward the chrome. My guess for your new build is a 7.3 Power Stroke.
Love the build but I must say, I will never understand how so many people think these huge chrome wheels look good.. Put some gunmetal gray/black 17” wheels and some dang rubber on there, it’s a truck!!

My 2005 2500 is that h2 hummer yellow, dealer had to special order 5 to get that color. Mine is the only one with the 8.1. One was a gmc duramax long bed.
I like the meaty look of the tires on the orange rims.

I’d vote to keep the orange wheels! It’s actually my favorite part of the build. Also should make the bow ties blue to match

Being a 56yr old muscle car/trk guy. I love the chrome wheels. I am hate the rubber band useless tires. I like meaty rubber. 22s is a lot of rolling weight but its not my truck. If mine i would go with chrome 20s with 35 or 37s rubber and at least a 6” lift. Jus my opinion. No badges. With that said. The truck look kick ass. Maybe even a black interior leather seats with matching interior. Great job Josh. I am in it to win it till the end brother
Stay with the painted rims. That looks more Hot Wheelish. A&D doing a GREAT JOB wish they were closer for me. Need them myself.

Looking good!!! It'll look good with the chrome wheels as well!! I pulled the trigger and purchased the 2018 Chevy Silverado duramax!! And so far no complaints!!!! Just don't know where to go for tunes!!! Really just need a good tow tune!!!
Orange is my favorite color so i love the truck and the color, the only thing i would change is the quadrasteer bed i think a regular straight side bed would look so much better

I think the chrome looks good. Lift it, 35s. I personally wasn't a fan of the color, but once I saw the chrome on it, I thought it looked a lot better. The truck is awesome tho man, great job.

Fill the wheel well with bigger tires, not wheels. I think the orange is cooler. I wouldn't ever do orange for a truck but I like that you're doing it.

Old school orange gotta love it, again every one has chrome or black wheels be different and stand out with painted rims . My father n law won a truck comp just because they loved the painted rims on it because he was different, but what ever you pick it will be nice but remember no rock chippers.

Chrome looks good on the orange body, but I would go larger tires if you do a lift. 37s would be nice. I will go against the crowd guesses, and go with a nissan titan with the baby cummins engine.

I like the size of the chrome wheels but the truck deserves blacked out wheels with a blacked out bumpers and grill with small chrome accents in the grill.
Still needs St. Andrew cross naval jack flag from General Lee, but call it General Stonewall on the truck lol

I absolutely love the orange Josh it's so different it reminds of the muscle car days !! Orange was a hot color along with lime green !! I definitely like the chrome rims better imo. The orange was nice but chrome goes with it better ! This is a great build from the start who would of thought that rusted out Duramax would become a show truck great job man !!!! Another banger episode of Truckmaster thanks bro!!!!

17:20 time thats a bumper fer 2015 plus HD trucks why looks cheap but the corner steps are a lifesaver gettin in the bed when tailgates down and center step on bumper is attached to the 2015 up hitches and hitch strengthen the center of bumper

If you're getting new chrome rims anyway how about something similar but not as big. Maybe 20x12 with more tire. The orange truck is a sweet color

I mean sure I think the truck may look a little like a pillion but it still for being the largest construction cone, I think it looks great.
I think a light blue would be cool myself and they're not done like that ever but the orange is still not bad.
However, recommendation, with the quadresteer box. I would say a wider tire in the rear then the front but still flush to the fenders. Like 8 of front 10 on rear.
So Light Blue for the next build?

In my opinion, respectfully, chrome > orange wheels. I personally think the orange wheels are too much, it needs something to break it up. the blue traction bars and other blue hsp goodies are sick, but definately chrome wheels.
That one is too hard to pick… they both look amazing on the truck and each are unique and give it a different look … keep them both is my vote …
Paint on one side chrome on the other, put a blue stripe down the truck.
