    - No food that comes from a box
    - No raw vegetables (intestine lining is irritated)
    - Sugar
    - No food you know you’re sensitive to
    Then start healing:
    - IF (it’s important to have a period of time when the body can rest and heal)
    - Animal products (low fiber, not many irritants) -> then introduce cooked vegetables (easier to digest fiber)
    - Supplements: (sponsor of the video) BioPtimizer Biome Breakthrough

Thanks, but I cannot buy your product - it contains Stevia ...
In my world, Stevia is not just a sugar substitute or alternative ... in my world Stevia IS Sugar! ...
My perspective is that of a sugar addict ... many millions of us on the planet ...
My craving for sugar was so strong, I had to get myself into a 12-step program to break it ... yes, it's a natural substance, but for me it still has addictive properties ...
I had four months of abstinence off of all forms of sugar and the cravings were gone ... I then bought Dr Berg's electrolyte powder that boasted as not containing sugar ...
I took just one mini-spoon with my water and about an hour later I had that toxic sugar reaction in my gut ...
The next day I started to think about making that old trip down to the station to buy a few candy bars and later that day I actually did it ...
Went to bed that night swearing to never do it again but about 3:30a in the morning I got up, put on my coat and marched back down to the station to load up again ...
I had this same reaction to Stevia a few years prior but at that time, I was not in the habit of looking at the label on the BACK of a container rather than just the front ...
So unfortunately, I'm still looking for a product that will not trigger my sugar craving and I'm disappointed that my hopes have been dashed once again ...
And I must tell you that I tend to view the decision to add Stevia to any product like this as a form of pandering ...
In the meantime, I'm now I'm once again staying away from sweeteners of any kind and that includes Stevia ...
But still pissed that those god damn manufacturers of this product just could not resist the time temptation to sweeten this product with Stevia ... it's completely unnecessary!

I had all those symptoms especially bloating and gas, then I started to eat leafy greens like spinach in very big portion. This leafy green even gave me worse problems like skin rash and joint pain.
So about 5 months ago I started to do these:
    - Stop consuming sugar
    - Intermittent fasting, 18/6
    - Stop eating almost all vegetables especially leafy greens
Now the joint pain has disappeared, and the skin rash is almost disappeared, I strongly believe it's caused by leafy greens. I still got bloating and gas occasionally but it's way way better than before.

      @@AdamJStoryDC No, don't eat steaks.
I'm from Indonesia, rice is the main staple here. I still eat rice everyday but started from 1 month ago, I replaced half of the rice with sweet potatoes (it helps soften my stools).
So my diet is 1/2 plate of rice + 1/2 plate of sweet potatoes + protein (mainly chicken or fish or egg). Sometimes I add Chayote for vegetable replacement.
Leafy greens and sugar were really the main cause. I have no doubt about this. I used to eat them alot. I sometimes ate raw leafy greens too.
I was obsessed with leafy greens because everyone told me it's good for constipation and for health in general.

It's possible that you have an Oxalate sensitivity. It's a substitute found in leafy greens and some other veggies. Greens can be incredibly healing for many, so not all will react the way that you do. You may want to look into it. All the best!

@WildBirdsinMyBackyard wow! I've noticed ever since I started incorporating leafy greens in my diet, I've felt more bloated and some abdominal discomfort, but I figured it was just me. So I kept eating leafy greens thinking I wasn't getting enough nutrients and still noticed same issue. I'm definitely gonna try intermittent fasting with zero leafy greens and include more proteins like fish. Let's see if this helps

Nutrients repair a leaky gut, not fasting. U need plenty of vit A for mucus production and it balances with vit D. Zinc and especially zinc carnosine is important for leaky gut and immune function to help deal with dysbiosis/candida/parasites you might need a gi map done. Minerals work in balance with each other so you probably need a blend of trace minerals and maybe a methylated b vitamin complex, most people with problems are poor methylators.

I've done it all. Cleanses, parasites cleanses, fasting, bone broth, vegan, carnivore , l glutamine, dairy free, gluten free grain free, sugar free, collagen, vitamins, sun therapy etc etc. None of it really fixes it. You may see slight lessening of symptoms briefly. This is all for months or years at a time. I've done all of these. IT DOESN'T WORK. Has anyone actually done this or anything that has healed least gut? Let me know. Ì have never come across anyone that actually and it themselves and fixed it.

I am doing the GAPS nutritional protocol by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. I’ve been on it for 4 months and I haven’t seen any improvement. I’m actually getting worse, not better. I have lost a ton of weight where I didn’t need to lose ANY! I am doing 5 cups of homemade chicken broth a day. I tried doing the fermented stuff but can’t because my histamine is through the roof! I guess I will continue the broth but I’m going to start adding more foods in my diet, even if they’re not GAPS approved. No processed foods, I just have to eat more. I’m friggin skin and bones! 😔😣

I found that while I could not tolerate consuming raw vegetables by just chewing, if I pulverized them into a soup in the Vitamix using the whole vegetable with all the fiber, then my stomach liked them. I was concerned because I was not getting raw vegetables with all their nutritional value. If you are having trouble with vegetables, cooking is one way to tolerate them, but to have all the nutritive value, making a soup of the whole vegetable in the Vitamix is a wonderful way to achieve that goal. I hope this helps.

And fasting 2 days out of the week and avoiding fooods that cause allergies and or GERD (Acid reflux) try that for a year and meditate get good sleep and focus on learning how to supplement to manage good mental health and sleep. After 6 months learn on what to eat to cleanse the stomachs lining and then heal it more. After all it’s about maintaining it. Take a food intolerance test when you start and midway through, you’ll learn that you became more allergic to the same foods and other new food allergies will come too. That means you are healing and your body’s immune system is recovering little by little they will go away just keep up the healing. THE HEALING OVER TIME WILL LET YOUR STOMACH BECOME STRONGER AND THE FOOD ALLERGIES WILL SLOWLY DISAPPEAR ( IF YOUR BODY DOESNT LIKE IT FOR THE TIME BEING DONT EAT IT, over time after healing you can try again and again i till you can)

I am doing the GAPS nutritional protocol to fix my leaky gut. I have been on it for 4 months. I have gotten worse not better. Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride really emphasizes homemade chicken broth, 5 cups a day to heal and seal a leaky gut.
Also, homemade fermented products to help repopulate the gut wth good bacteria. I have been doing the broth for 4 months but I cannot do the fermented products because I believe I have MCAS and the histamine is just too much for me. (I’ll be getting an actual diagnosis for MCAS in August).
My problem is I also have chronic Lyme disease, my Adrenals are shot also which probably affects my Thyroid. I’ve had my Thyroid tested and it’s “normal”
 No it’s not.
Anyway, with my Adrenals being shot I can’t, and shouldn’t wait too long to eat in the mornings. I have tried intermittent fasting and loved it other than it just caused too much stress on my body.
This GAPS diet had made me lose so much weight where I didn’t need to lose any in the first place! I am so sick right now. I have a Naturopath I will be calling to get a SIBO test and a stool sample test and go from there.
