- Yakuza may have permanently switch over to being an RPG, but those who still yearn for the series' classic brawler structure still have Judgment to turn to. On September 24, its sequel Lost Judgment is launching worldwide (which also marks the first simultaneous launch for any Yakuza or Judgment game, incidentally), and given how good the first Judgment was, it goes without saying that anticipation for Lost Judgment is high.

Just recently they've made an announcement; They're putting extra girlfriends, a fighting style and Kaito story DLC behind a paywall as part of the more expensive editions, check out Sega's or RGG Studio's Facebook page.
What a joke, it seems like RGG Studio's slowly becoming more and more like the other bad apples in the industry.

The first part blew me away. I spent so much time on side stuff that I sometimes lost the flow of the main story. Judgement is a fantastic game even if you don't like jrpg.
I loved all the Yakuza games and the first Judgement, Ryu ga Gotoku Studios does not disappoint me ✊
Have you played Fist Of The North Star? RGG did pretty good with that I feel.
I'm playing it right now and I'm loving it. Reminds me of Sleeping Dogs. That was a gem of a game.

Am I making this up or did the new gen versions of Judgement have the voice acting lip synced for English? I wasn’t when I played it PlayStation, but I feel like it was when I played it on the Series X

I’m playing through Judgment right now and just found out this was coming out. Pre-ordered immediately.
I'll probably just buy it day one if the game is well received by fans, because I don't dare to pre-order anything anymore after the cyberpunk fiasco.

@@JayAreAitch Well i hadn't pre-ordered anything in years before that, but it was CDPR and i really liked the witcher games, so i thought it would've been a safe bet. I did manage to get a refund tho.

I played through Judgement on the PS5 twice in the last month. What an awesome game. I loved every minute. I have pre-ordered the physical version Lost Judgement for my collection. I would like all of the extra content for the Ultimate Digital Edition. I assume all of the DLC will by purchasable a-la-carte as soon as the game is released?

Judgment has no characters from the other games returning them so don't fear spoilers. But you may wanna play Yakuza Like a Dragon before Lost Judgment since there might be some world stuff that has changed.

Play 6 then finish the series with like a dragon then move on to judgment then lost judgment and theres also a game called "fist of the north star" it even has kiryu skin in it :)

LJ is still an RPG, it’s just not turn based that’s all. It’s brilliant!!! Honestly though Y7’s tb combat is so smooth like Stagon Quest XI S it feels like real time combat and it’s not.

The series has always been an RPG its just that the latest title was an turned based one.. no idea why people think rpg = turn based combat only. (Just a comment for what he says in the start of the video)
An Idea for next main title:
I hope that the devs will let players decide if they want to play turn based or action based similar to how Final fantasy 7 remake has where it lets the player decide between two different combat systems. This would make everyone happy, people who enjoy turn based can chose it and people who want to play classic brawler style can chose to do so. Sure it is extra work having to develop two different play styles but I think it would be worth to do so. I hope they have at least though about an idea like this.

I've never played a Yakuza game, but i've played Sleeping Dogs. This game looks AMAZING to me and i'm about to preorder ... I never preorder lol
If you have a pc or Xbox you could get game pass and be able to play the entire Yakuza series the only ones that aren’t on there are the judgment games and some spin off games

@@nolankuffner3573 while that'd be hilarious, no I prefer the Japanese voice actors with English subtitles. Especially since the Yakuza games often use facial capture to match the Japanese voice actors.

This is the first time evern that I hear a guy has problems with the game coming out on PC. I don't get it. I don't want this to be the last Judgement for this stupid reason.
Since Judgement can't come to PC, Maybe a Switch port.
The Dragon Engine games already run poorly on the base PS4. Little to no chance of a functional port to the Switch.
@@Bateluer Panic Button always does a amazing job with porting big games to switch.
@@GameMasterpg I don't think they could cut back a Dragon Engine far enough to make run on a Switch, not even at 720p. Base PS4 can barely hold 30fps at 900p. The past few years of smartphones boast more power than the Switch.
