Despite what other's advice, take the middle first. If O takes a corner, its going to be a draw. It O takes a side, its going to be a win. Watch the video for how this is done.

you can do the reverse by choosing the corner.

This is just the exact same as the corner strategy.

No. because the corner strategy can take several moves to see if its a draw or not. This one, its apparent on the first O move.

So it’s really a 50/50 chance (if you exclude the potential of the opponent to change their move or if they are not a very good player), whereas when you use the corner strategy, you have multiple winning possibilities.
For example, if I go in the corner and the opponent goes in the middle (one of the most common methods), then I go directly opposite to them and if they go into any remaining corner, then I go in the opposite corner and double trap them, or if they don’t go into a corner, then it will always be a draw (if they are smart enough and know how to block you, of course). Another example for a corner strategy winning possibility: you start in the corner, they go to ANY edge/side square, you go in the middle, they block you with a corner move, and then you just continue a game of repeatedly blocking a couple times until it’s a draw, but, sometimes you can win if they forget to block you, which is especially likely because there is so much repeated blocking in this type of play. Finally, the easiest and most common variation is when you go in the corner, the opponent goes for a corner, then just go for the opposite corner, they have no choice but to block you in the middle, so then you go to another final corner and there you go, you win.
Technically, if you look at it by the numbers, both middle and corner strats have eight winning possibilities.
      1. **Middle Strategy**: By occupying the center square, you have the potential to win along 4 lines: 3 rows, 3 columns, and 2 diagonals, totaling 8 winning possibilities.
      2. **Corner Strategy**: By occupying a corner, you have the potential to create winning lines through various combinations of corners, edges, and the center square. There are 8 possible winning combinations with the corner strategy as well.
So, both strategies offer 8 winning possibilities each, depending on subsequent moves and player tactics. HOWEVER, there is more risk involved in the middle strategy because if the person does not make their move in the square you intend them to, then it’s automatically a draw, but if they do, then automatic win; high risk, high reward, low risk, low reward, whereas in the corner strategy, there are multiple options to choose from even if the player does not go where you intend them to go as I have described in the many variations of corner strat play, so therefore, the corners strategy is more ideal.

I think the corner is a better strategy still, no-one is dumb enough to choose a side square as their first square, if you choose side it's easier to bate worse players into loosing as most without strategy with prioritise middle and then corners and leave sides to last increasing your chances of winning with the corner Strat. But if your playing with someone who thinks for more then one second no strategy will win so doesn't really matter anyways

The corner strategy is a guaranteed draw if the opponent choose middle
