Not gonna lie I have had so many frustrating rounds that I just straight up leave on maps that I don't like.
If I get a cooldown, I don't care.
I find that alternating between War Thunder and dumb shit in RDR2 helps a lot. Less frustrating, and you get to see Arthur (if youâve restarted the game like I have!)
@@cheesuschrist5017 for me I like to increase and channel rage by raging on war thunder first then hopping on elden ring and try to beat a boss with no armor.

Phly, could you maybe start a "best of tier" series? Maybe in categories such as best armor, or most survivable(no armor, best armor), or best gun(maybe separate best pen and best post pen explosive)? Maybe even aircraft? Maybe even tech tree sections? Any thoughts ppl?

Check the most played vehicles with their WR, for example, the Pz IV F2 has stupidly high wr for its play rate, when you check its stats, you notice it has 140ish mm of pen.
Best post pen explosive (only for aphe) will probably USSR for most of the game. 95% of the time i pen its a one shot kill.

Literally just had a fun game on magot line bc an enemy m22 came to B cap that was being defended by 3 of us (me/is1, an is2, and a t3485). He just ran circles around us and shot things while talking in chat. No one shot him for like 2 mins until we had to push forward and couldn't have him spotting us :((. He was cool about that too tho lol. Brought back a little biplane thing and killed me even tho I wasn't his killer XD
@@asavita8745 wholesome as fuck, just like the old school BF3 lobbies. I was really good with a tank or BMP type vehicle,but I couldn't fly worth a damn. I got lucky enough and some lad let me swap to his tank, I gave him the helicopter I managed to bring back without crashing. Friendly OFC.

Most of these Italian tanks (especially lower tier) remind me of small dogs.
They mostly just irritate people with their constant noise and relatively harmless (yet highly irritating) ankle biting. Yet every now and then one comes along that somehow commands fear and respect, and is underestimated at your peril.
Well you are not wrong the Italian troops called the semoventes "bassotto" dachshund.
You know things are going bad for you when your own troops make fun of their equipment.

russian barrels don't get taken out anymore when you shoot them from the front even dead center compared to other vehicles. unless they have a muzzle brake or u shoot them from the side
In test drive I couldn't kill russian barrels even with triple MG151 firing from the side. 51mm pen HVAP, 37mm AP and they were both not doing anything. Nothing like a good old ninja-buff from Gaijoob.
Had the same problems with german tanks before, the shell was just disintegrated
I couldn't even damage a T-34s barrel with a hundred rounds of 20mm, something is definitely not right
Same thing, russian barrels are indestructible while i can easily one shot a german barrel
That seems to happen a lot with the 85 and the American 76/90 without a muzzle brake. I think the curved surface of the barrel itself is modeled as armor and you can only damage the barrel if you hit and âpenetrateâ the âarmorâ.
those earlier Italian tank destroyers are excellent if you can hide behind a shallow hill, aim with binoculars, and dip shots on people who just can't hit you
That white T-34 was hella smart and is the biggest giga chad I've seen in a long time.

To answer the question of why that plate is missing a spot but still stops rounds, look at it from a close-up from above. There's a slight gap in the armor (its spaced apparently) and when you get the mouse all up in there you'll find that the hole in the 75mm plate has a 90mm plate covering it. So there's actually *more* armor there than the rest of it.
What I especially love about this is that the armor is not flat 100mm, but 75mm RHA + 150mm air + 25mm RHA. It's the ultimate anti-HEAT armor, especially at the br. The APHE, while having mediocre pen, has a really amazing 270g of HE filler, which easily overpressures anything that you can pen.
You might have played it already, but the last Sermovente (75/46 M43) is STILL underrated. It's been moved up to 4.7 and still claps cheeks. I love it to bits. By far my favourite tank to play in the whole Italian tech tree, if not the whole game.
I have the one you mentioned and I mounted some bushes on it. Very good machine for deleting Russian bias.

The bigger brother of the 75/46 M43 is a beast as well, better gun the the Pz IV penetration wise and the armor is 100m+ like this one and it still works amazingly.

Once I won in a 4v1 with two StuH's, a BT-7, and Pz.3 with this thing, it was amazing. StuH's are literally not able to pen your front plate since they're spaced
75/46 is also very good a better round as well 149 mm penetration and decent armor surprisingly survivable

In short, that was exactly my thought process with this particular vehicle and recently, too, at least in my Italian tank grind terms. Phly is psychic. Phlychic, if you will.

22:00 The drivers plate is also 75mm and modelled extra in the armor showcase.
The driver hatch is 90mm so it actually has a total off 115mm of armour in that area, not including the spaced armour too.

that drives port on the 75mm armor plate is its own armor plate and is 90mm of armor and that's why it doesn't show on the "super structure" armor

4.3 BR: chuckles* "I'm in danger"
So I got the strv 122a video in my recommendation and thought yea that vehicle is still very strong, I saw one take about 2 missiles and multiple shots and was still going strong
This thing used to be the hope against Char 2-b's when they'd be bullying any other thank that couldn't pen them, but then this thing would come in with it's heat rounds and dunk on them. I think it was balanced.
I find the 105/25 better for his BR , the gun is sooooo better than the 75
The thing that let's me down with the Semoventes isn't the gun, which while underperformed I can work with, it's the mobility. They're just a bit too sluggish on anything but hard road that I can't use them as well as I'd like. Still a solid performer at most of its brs, but it could be better. It could be a StuG
I feel like a stug is more versatile in its platform. I have no evidence to back this up but its just a feeling thing for me
@@mythical_4275 it's mostly an armor layout and gun thing. Their mobility is similar, with the stug 3 being a lot faster and the stug 4 being a little bit faster, but the stugs all have a much better gun and better armor

Like, dude, cmon, as much as I love Italian TD's, more especially this one's older brother the 75/46 m43, don't you think it'd pair well with the P.108 Serie A? It's better to take out the Mega Duck at a higher br where there's less aaa, imo, such as maybe 5.7 with the 90 heatfs Italian Sherman/Jackson TD. Just try it....

A lot of tanks that I think are fun to play are rank 2, so I don't end up playing them because of the battle pass and events that are on all the time now. This is one I would play, but it's hard to fit in a rank 3 line up.

Dear Phly, I think you would have lots of fun flying the AM-1 but instead of dedicating the plane to CAS using it to shoot down planes as it is an easily underestimated aircraft similar to the helldiver but a little less manueverable
