I haven't seen a single nuke go off ever since they implemented it. Seen a few shot down and a few that "timed out".
It's stupid how hard it is to get to actually drop the nuke AFTER you've managed to even get the SP for it..
War thunder is fun until you have to grind for 9 years just to have supersonic jets. Or you could spend like $10,000 on game and be fine, but damn. I really wanna play the game just donât have the dime, nor the time
Been trying to grind my way up the American tech tree to reach said jets. Currently researching the twin mustang and the last plane before reaching early jet fighters. One of the worst parts of war thunder is that you have to research and buy three aircraft that you donât want in order to actually get the aircraft you do want.
The fact that he couldnt get there in time to nuke them, physicaly hurts me so much
I feel like they should make it so the tickets stop draining when a player spawn in their nuke.

He actually doesn't, every game It's the editing, there are many reports from ppl on reddit stating that he leaves after 1 death. And fishes for the games he does well. He promotes the game but almost supports the toxicity of one death quits. He also has a press account so it doesn't really matter for backups and such.

25:08 "I think there's 1 in there?": They added a new UI element that shows you your first stage ammo storage. The right side of circle there with your tank silhouette has a little white number with what's supposed to be an ammo icon.

my first nuke was an absolutely insane 14 kill game at 10.0 in the M1 Abrams (10.0, 105mm) we got a .3 uptier and i just kept taking every single shot fired at me and hitting weak spots in like, the first fuckin shot it was the most fantastic war thunder experience i'd ever had, really felt like i was playing a proper MBT
The most modern French tank to pack explosive rounds is the AMX 13 F-11, 3.7, which has massive drop on the shell but solid dmg output.
I've started grinding the French tech tree, and all I have to say is that whoever says "Germany suffers" needs to grind low tier France to know suffering
That like 1.3 or 1.7 Lineup was the most pain I've ever had in War Thunder

When you played French low tier at the release, when gun reload was 9s and not 3 or 4 like now... This was the suffering.
Idk why they dont give French Apds at low tier, France was in the lead for developping this new ammo.

You should try the french AMX-13 if you're looking for another french tank with explosive filler. The thing is basically a french chaffee but with a little better survivability because people will shoot for the front plate and bounce from the slope. If I recall there's even a premium where it uses the chaffee turret.

The repair cost is a burden to the french tree, the batchat Tier being the most expensive. I am amazed that he manage to play whole games without getting revenge killed : Any lineup i used to play with the batchat made it bleed SL by thousands each game facing death divers as soon as you score your second kill !
The missed nuke is painfull to watch after such a great game, it feel worse than being gunned down by a jet.

Actually... if you go back and look at the Char 25 before the last update, the Char 25 used the same ammunition as the ARL-44 or AMX M4. They changed this thing to use the AP and APHE rounds off the M46, since apparently this thing was intended to use the same ammunition as contemporary NATO tanks.
Which begs the question... why don't the ARL-44 or AMX M4 have these rounds, when they use the same guns?

Phlee, play the I-185 (M-82) for CAS. It is WAAAAAY underrated (3x20mm with powerphul AP + bombs/rockets). It's also really phast.
Honestly Phy, I recently just lost a Guinea Pig. We barely had him. But we got him as a rescue. He was sick. He seemed to have started to do better. Then on October 11th he got really limp and sadly passed away after we tried to comfort him and heat him up. He looked pretty small and was probably very young. It's still tough for me. Not great at dealing with loss. But I have been watching a lot of your videos since then and they do manage to cheer me up. Just the excitment you can get for sometimes the weirdest reasons. Thanks.

Yeh its a really nice vehicle... btw you can see how many rounds are left in the autoloader: there's an icon on the left hand side of the tank status panel with the autoloader reloading icon that tells how how many rounds you have left

As a french main, I'd love to play the batchat more. Unfortunately it has a 12k repair cost.
And unfortunately with the devastation of this new shell, I feel that the repair cost, which is already too high for me, is going to go up sharply.
@@hyrikul602 the issue is that most who play the tank are experienced players, and because of them the repair cost was so high. the tank was at best average at that BR. Solid shoot with low pen ( 215 before the update ), 6.5 sec reload which is barely lower than most tanks at that BR, no armor, no speed, no survivability.
@@hyrikul602 now with the explosive round it is definintely better, but the repair should still go down not up.

Phly is the reason why the French tree gets "Balans" every update. If you let peoples like Phlydaddy here play them you end up with unstoppable machines of destruction wrecking the enemy team. Meanwhile, the average French main has to keep up with those warlords or else they go bankrupt.

The Sau-40 is actually insane for it's BR, pretty good armor, and you can pen mostly everything even at up tier battles. I've sadly gone past it's BR in France ground forces, but holy moly, I consistently got 6+ kills everytime I used it and 90% of the time they were one shot kills.

I had my first ever nuke experience taken away from me the other day. If I had waited just another 2 seconds before leaving cover the damn panzer iv/70 would never have gotten me and I would have gotten him. Then to make matters worse 2 rounds or so later someone got a nuke. :(

Hey phly, As it seems like it's been ages since you've played Britain, can you do a video with the mosquito using the 4 uncle Tom's pleeeaaasssseeee. They smack hard even at 6.0 just need to be accurate. Would recommend using the o.g challenger with it using APDS.
