"Fuze" is one of the more accessible and traditional songs in the Streets of Rage 3 soundtrack, but it's quite different from what has come before. The closest approximation would be "Spin on the Bridge" from Streets of Rage 2.
This mix of high-intensity industrial, hardcore, breakbeat and techno creates an ensuing sonic eruption of odd time signatures and lots of low end. Expanding it meant deviating only a little from this sound to provide more overall content. I think it works, without straying too far from the original tune.

I love the stereo mixing on this, sounds great on headphones.
Compared to the first two games that was a simple "beat the gang from below", the lore of Streets of Rage 3 was more about preventing a disaster, that is why Fuze is a great opening stage music.
The one thing that could've been done better in Streets of Rage 4 were the pure stakes of everything. It's a bit of a downgrade compared to Streets of Rage 3
Urgencie at its finest with another great track, keep it up all your tracks are amazing and I hope they don't stop good luck with cycle I and the poets II
This is really good! Fuze is very underrated for being used too much in the game but I think it's amazing. Most Kawashima's tracks have more traditional melodies and they're my favourite songs in the game.

@@kingalbert513 I guess we just saw different comments, I always see people praising The Poets tracks, Moon, Dub Slash... but never Fuze, I really think it's a great track :)

@@Axel-Dreemurr I have many favourites but my number one is The Poets II. I love Random Cross, it's quirky but so catchy!

I'm so glad that you've got to the third game as well. I don't know why this soundtrack receives so much negative. One of the most technically advanced at the time. And you made it even more impressive. Great job!
Hey Tank :) The third game is an acquired taste. It's like listening to death metal for the first time. It's jarring at first, but if you give it a chance, you start to appreciate it. I am extremely happy that I decided to ignore my own judgment and take on this project, because I have come away with a huge newfound appreciation for the soundtrack.

I love your remixes, they sound a lot better than in original, and they keep original atmosphere.
Thanks Blaze. It's painstaking work to replicate the sound of the original tracks, but it's very important for the type of feel i'm looking for. This is all about nostalgia and picking up where the originals left off, rather than covering them.

OMG this is crazy good, MaestroDraven is it okay if I use this song in a SOR3 Community video I'm about to edit. There isn't too many communities for other players to connect with this game ( even in the SOR communities ) I will definitely give you credit and link your channel name on the video.
This track should have only been used 2 times at most in the game imo. Here and the stage after Robo X.
Nope. They used in Stage 1 (part 1 and Shiva Fight), before Robot X theme starts we can hear Fuze playing, Stage 6 before Jet and Stage 7 in the City Hall against Shiva.

SoR3 was my introduction to the series, so the soundtrack is what I identify with most, and I was always shocked that it was derided as the worst entry (mostly that the soundtrack "sucked") and I never really understood why. The stakes in 3 are pretty high in comparison to 1 and 2, and the game literally starts with the gang trying to defuse a bomb.
I dunno, I love Streets of Rage, but working backwards from 3 definitely coloured my opinion since it had so many improvements (dashing, specials don't hurt you if you can wait, dash attacks that upgrade), that it was always my favourite. It wasn't until many years later that I discovered that Streets of Rage 3 had a bunch of weird changes compared to Bare Knuckle 3 (changing Axel and Blaze's clothing colours, defeated enemies not blinking out of existence, the removal of Ash, the stupid "lol, you gotta at LEAST play on Normal if you want the full story" thing)
