"Happy Paradise" lives up to its name with a positive swing, flanked by a series of slightly disjointed and warped notes in order to remain faithful to the rest of the SOR3 soundtrack. I capitalized on this slightly off-kilter feel in order to build out my expansion, alternating back and forth between the warpiness, and the happiness of the stock track. Had a lot of fun in the process.

This is one of my favorite tracks for remixes because the original loop is such a solid base. There are so many ways to give a continuity and progression to it and it's really interesting to hear what people do
I loved this beat in the game, streets of rage 3 had a dark amasphere with unfamiliar tunes.

I love this tune, too. I like how slightly disjointed the feel is, too. The warped bassline is, in my opinion, what gives the song its feel.

@@MaestroDraven Yes deffo got that from that point forward, just before that part, I think it showed "uncertainty" like oh no it's getting dark but then after the dark, comes the light, which is the part from 2:44 onwards, right? At least, that's what I got from the vibe

Hey ray, there is a way I just can't remember how. I'm not sure how they do it, but apparently it's some sort of a program that injects songs into the actual Genesis ROM. If I can think of it, I'll post it here.

The background stage images , how did you extract it like that ? Do you have a few images of all the stages you made expanded versions of ? I'm trying to make a new layout for my sor3 pages
The backgrounds were done by extracting the sprite layers one by one, then reconstructing them as layers inside Photoshop. Then I animate them to create a parallax effect. I do have the master PSD files if you want them.

I thought it was an odd song for that level, as well.
