    Hi! Great video, I've learnt a lot! The one I have doesn't have the facial attachment. What is it actually called so I can try and order the part? I brought the Pointer Excel as I have Bells Palsy.

      Glad the video was helpful. I don't think you can order the part separately. It's basically a flat metal head. Here's the link to the pen which comes with all the attachments. amzn.to/42pOCAQ

    And can we give electric current on needle after inserting

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 9 měsíci +4

      It is not designed to be used with needles. It located points and then stimulates them with electricity without puncturing the skin.

    @galladiel Před 6 měsíci +3

    So you apply it for 30 seconds on each point, right? Is that going to be enough? I mean, in regular acupuncture the needles are there for quite some time. I want to use it for vagal stimulation.

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 6 měsíci +1

      This is quite different from regular acupuncture in many ways, one of which being you can only treat one point at one time, and it's across the skin rather than through it. That said, how long to apply it for each individual use case is beyond the scope of a CZcams video.

      It can be used on the face and actually has a facial attachment (intended more for cosmetic purposes). However, it no way implies that it can cure Bell's Palsy. I have a colleague who specializes in Bell's palsy. Here's an (audio only) podcast interview that I did with him a few years ago: czcams.com/video/sCA_o1J2SlQ/video.html He also has an online Bell's palsy course available at www.butheauphysio.com/bells-palsy-treatment-at-home.html Good luck!

    Nice video,.. Does this Accupuncture pen have a HZ setting? If so how can it be useful for treatment?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 11 měsíci +1

      It does have a Hz dial where you can turn up or down the frequency, but there are no labels on it as to what number of Hz it's delivering, so it's really a personal preference as to whether you prefer a higher or lower frequency vibration.

    • @AndreasLienemann
      @AndreasLienemann Před 5 měsíci +2

      @@More4Lifeof course you can see what frequency it is set to. That’s what the LCD display on top of the device is for.

      @@AndreasLienemann Thanks for your comment. I just checked the device, and the numbers on top do seem to increase when you turn the frequency dial. It ranged from 5 at the lowest frequency setting to 25 at the highest when I checked it.

    • @AndreasLienemann
      @AndreasLienemann Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@More4Life It shows the frequency while you hit the button for treatment/administering treatment; If you're locating points it will default to indicating the sensitivity. The frequency range on these is usually 1-16 Hz. Maybe the newer ones go up to 25 Hz, I don't know.

    How to know excess or deficiency at that point?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Essentially it just picks up electrical current in the muscle. So if you mean too "yin or yang" or "hot or cold", I'm not certain that it can do that.

    • @AnNie-13
      @AnNie-13 Před 10 měsíci +2

      In acupuncture, either the point has excess of energy or deficiency. Accordingly, tonification or sedation is done. This pen is showing numbers, so does it indicate level of energy?

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@AnNie-13 you'd have to check with the manufacturer on this one. My gut feeling is that it probably register excess of energy (higher electrical activity), and not deficiency. But again, you'd have to check with the manufacturer on the specifics. It doesn't mention anything about that in manual that accompanies the product.

    Curious why is your left bicep so much larger than your right? Is that a training thing or an injury? I ask because my son has started body building and his left calf muscle looks larger and im concerned.

    • @More4Life
      @More4Life  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I injured my shoulder as a teenager and didn't do PT for it (ironically). No more pain, and my right is still pretty strong but it's not like the left. In your son's case, it may be an indication of a muscle imbalance, but best to look into it now so he can fix it sooner rather than later.
