There is too much focus on not losing as opposed to going out to ‘win’ and that means we’re lucky if we get 3-4 genuinely exciting, end to end games these days either.

We need to see sides mix it up a bit. 4-4-2 and a couple of strikers, with wingers pumping balls into the box, it might ruffle the feathers more cos City can't be beaten at their own game.

I've actually got a United season DVD of the 2012-13 season that's a painful watch. Virtually every goal on it shows the build up in normal broadcast view, then it suddenly switches to a close up view from a different angle, or behind the goal. It totally ruins the highlights and the fact it's on an official released DVD is extraordinary.
