How was the guy with diseased leaves and other prohibited items not given a fine? I've seen a single mother with two small children who had a half-eaten hamburger in her handbag that she bought for her children at the airport of departure but then forgot about it, massively fined. That was an innocent mistake, but this guy was intentionally bringing in prohibited items in his luggage and lied on his declaration form, but he got away with it. But as far as I know, one of the benefits of being Aboriginal is not jumping a queue at the airport or anywhere else in the country. It's very much UNLIKE any other country where the indigenous people get preferential l treatment over all other citizens. You have NO one to talk to or inquire with, and it's a very bad thing that embassies and consulate staff often don't pick up the phone or have enough staff to respond to phone calls, emails, whathaveyou. If you don't have some kind of online chat functionality or a phone number to consult, it is NO surprise that dopes like that man end up getting the wrong kind of document and don't find out till they've spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on a plane ticket and are physically at their destinations.
