Great video. Learned something and laughed. I am having the same code and I think I keep changing the wrong sensor in my 2012. I have changed the one you get to by the right wheel well. Is that the same thing you just changed or is there a third one?
There is only two cam sensors and they are on the back of the heads back behind intake I’m not sure what you may have changed? Maybe a crank sensor ? glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment👍😀
Will an o2 sensor cause the camshaft sensor code to come on? I have a 2011 v6 frontier and I had a code for the o2 sensor about a month ago but I ran some fuel cleaner through the tank and it went off for a month. But now I am getting the o2 sensor code plus the camshaft sensor code. What do you suggest I do?
It’s likely two problems the camshaft code should only be the camshaft sensor. The O2 code can be tricky, in the past I have seen bad O2 sensors but it could be a few other things as well that set an O2 code like a bad catylatic converter or even a vacuum leak causing the engine to dump too much fuel and giving a faulty reading. I would fix the camshaft position code then try to trouble shoot the O2 issue there are some good videos on CZcams on how to trouble shoot your O2 sensors👍
Sometimes it helps to hold the connector and push it towards the sensor then press release button and pull off. If you just press the release and pull sometimes it will hang up👍 maybe this will help thanks for the comment
This code can be caused by a bad sensor or bad wiring or a bad PCM, I would inspect the wiring harnesses and plugs very good maybe this helps👍 thanks for the comment
The clip can be a bugger bear!…..I had to pull a sensor out one time then unhook the wire. Usually after persistent mashing the clip and pulling it will come loose, one thing to try is push the clip back on the sensor as hard as you can then mash release clip before pulling off this helps a lot too. Good luck👍
You did make that look like a piece of cake, I feel results may very thought!!
Perfect! I have the same year. Thanks for the help!!
Same here! Just changed mine out with the help of the video.
Thank you fr san Antonio texas for the info😅😅

Gracias por el comentario!
Thank you Sir! Commenting for the algorithm.
Awesome!! Thanks!!🤣

Is P0340 located on bank 1 The passenger side ? Thanks
From my research you are correct that the passenger side is bank 1 however we just changed both of these at the same Time. Thanks for the comment👍
Is the camshaft sensor for bank 1 and 2 the same shape?
No they are different
Dang electrical connector wont come off. Any advice?

I switched mine on my 2011 frontier as well but the same code keeps coming on and truck turns off but starts right away switched bank 1 and bank 2

Having same issue
Everything is easy, except for the electrical connector. Not sure how to release it.
