This couple is super wonderful. As a black man I am truly a supporter of Devale, but Khadeen holds him down in a major way. I support black love and respect the work they both put in.

Feel like the host has the potential to be great, because her personality is very strong & she's attentive & keeps to the schedule. BUT when he said "who hurt you?" sis, thats exactly what it was giving 🤨 This is these people's journey, their story. & They are there on your employers platform because of the FULL journey. So when people speak on things that may not align with what you want, need, or approve of in relationships, you (miss mam) have to check your own bias as a host of this type of topic. & She wasn't very conscience of the magnitude of her shade & how it affected the atmosphere. It wasn't playful or tasteful or even short-winded. It was rude, & abrasive, & continuous - came off unprofessional! I appluad her for wanting to hold him accountable to his actions, but it came off very one sided & man hater like, ESPECIALLY since he is very accountable of his own actions. She can't be interviewing Black Love with lack of empathy or compassion. It was distasteful.

Completely agree! What makes me mad is this, the mindset he had at 18-20 is literally the norm for most men! When he talked about that she basically acted like he was trash or some kind of “f-boy” like she don’t know that that’s how most men that age think! She came across as delusional like she live in a fantasy word where he was supposed to say he love and adored his wife and ONLY her from the minute he laid eyes on her, like sis why you mad at him for keeping it real?! That’s what makes them so loved now! Their realness!

The hosts comments and slick shade had me side eyeing her lol. Like damn girl, yo hurt showing. I felt her though, I’ve given to a man I thought would be my forever and was broken. This was hard to watch but I ended up laughing along with them. Love exists 🥰

These two are one of the most consistent, realist and most transparent couples and I’m not sure what the shade was about but it was tacky. I love them and they’re goals. They’re should be NO SHADE thrown toward them at all!

I'm only half way through but the host slick comments after Devale speaks is one reason some black men feel like they cant speak their truth, let this man talk. I'm sure he has done plenty of "making up".

As with any investment, learn as much as you can about what you're investing IN. Most women are way to eager...and easy. I was raised by my dad, which I think has given me a different perspective than most women on relationships. I have NEVER "been" with a man that I didn't know, that I know, that I know, that he knows, and his mama knows, that he loves him some Nicole! If I didn't feel that to be the case "it" wasn't happening. So if you're going to invest in a man 'take the time' to learn his character and to know that he loves you, and that usually means keeping your legs closed until that happens.

Small critique I wish the host wasn't as disinterested as she was with Devale's answered... especially about the one when he was 18. We all make mistakes but the beautiful thing about it is growing from it and that's what he's done

It's why I watch every video I can find of The Ellis's... Thier "professional realism" is unmatched. Their combined strength and energy is revolutionary. Thier courage is invigorating! Each video is too short for me... I be like .."awwwe that's it" and then I scour CZcams looking for more. All that came together again and as usual on this show and they absolutely killed it. The host on the other hand... I don't know her name and refuse to remember her face after tonight. Unfortunately she is the stereotype of why Blk Men date elsewhere. What is this host's issue with this black man. She was very demeaning and belittling to him for what reason?! Devale is a very self-aware man who has recognized the areas he has fallen short in and has corrected them and continues to improve. He is driven, has purpose , has vision and is very passionate. Most of all he loves his wife and it's clear. Their relationship is something the average couple can relate to because it's real. Not the fairytale bs we are told to expect from men. Love Khadeen & Devale...the Host definitely gets a side eye. I understand the importance of keeping things on schedule BUT the shade, unnecessary comments and rushing was a complete turn off!
