It’s just weird/off putting to see a big change all of the sudden. People don’t like change. It makes you feel like time has flown by, your older, and that you are no longer in the “happy days”, days where Erin was thin.
It’s like if Jack went bald. You would feel sad/angry because the “glory days” of watching jackfilms and being young have passed. His personality didn’t change, but things have changed and he got older along with you.
Also, given the fact that often when people are depressed they will over eat and gain weight, I think people are also sad/worried for Erin. The issue is usually this sadness comes out in the form of something like, “damn, she got fat”
Anyways, this is just what I think, and there is a lot more to it than what was said, but it’s a part of it.

Bionicle is a line of buildable action figures made by LEGO back in 2001, originally starting as an offshoot of their technic system. The toys are only half of Bionicle, however. The other half is the mystic and mysterious atmosphere. Bionicle had a ton of lore spread throughout most media formats at the time: Books, movies, comics, short online story serials, and even two point and click adventure games. This gave it a very unique feel when compared to other toys at the time; You weren't just playing with action figures, you were unraveling a large chronicle detailing a battle of good and evil, a fight for the very balance of the universe itself.
Bionicle is noteworthy for a few reasons: It used to be one of LEGOs longest lasting themes, having persisted for roughly a decade before finally being axed. It was also one of the first themes to have an intricate story (Not the first, mind you. Themes having comics in LEGO magazine was quite common beforehand. Rather, Bionicle is the first theme to get as complex with its story telling as it did). Its unique appeal also helped save LEGO from financial bankruptcy. That's right, without Bionicle, LEGO would probably not be around today.
Bionicle is still remembered today for a multitude of reasons, namely nostalgia, who doesn't think robot dudes are cool, and some actually really well written scenes and characters (Including a few major character deaths and many plot twists). I would put a recap of said story but then this comment would be another 12 paragraphs long. All you need to know is that it starts as a simple good vs evil story and then gets very very crazy.

It was a sweet video. I was so excited to see Erin on camera again and now she likely won’t show up for a long time because some people are just assholes.

I can't express how happy it makes me that you seem to be having such a genuinely good time making these videos again. It's a spark that I noticed seemed to have faded until you starting doing these blind.
Maybe that's only part of the reason though. I sincerely apologize for the incident that happened with Erin recently. I love how supportive this community is, because as soon as the JackAsk before this was privated due to the comments, people instantly flooded to the next video with nothing but support. It's such a sweet sense of legitimately caring community that you don't get a lot nowadays despite the sarcasm that the fanbase usually emanates.
