Either we did a really good job with these, or the mods had a few sleepless nights finding them.
There were a lot of great limericks. Some were better than a few of the ones on this video.

I feel like it's because those who weren't up to the task didn't even try, and those who were really did. Kind of like with the picture edits, bad intros, etc.

guys don't complain about the missing question. it just means he's planning to cut down on spare questions. it could even mean the gap between querstion and answer won't be 3 months anymore!
It just feel weird. Like every YIAY has intro, answers, question, outro (and sometimes sponsor)
If there's something missing, is it still a YIAY? Is anything real? Are we in simulation? Why do we exist?
All will be revealed in the ARG.
At last, you're free. The times spent thinking of your best answer, deep down already knowing you'll never get picked. Already knowing that there's much funnier and worthier people than you out there. Already knowing there'll be an answer or two that aren't even good but somehow got in any way, while you rot in futility. You can finally put all that behind you now. In the end you never got in, but that's no longer important. You can go back to whatever you used to do, in those days you didn't spend trying to think of a good answer for YIAY.

The limerick at 2:50 marking the glorious return of "Get paid, get laid, Gatorade" has excited me more than anything mentioned in the last Nintendo Direct.

Limericks are actually sort of meant to be dirty. The genre calls for them to be a bit scandalous. Modern culture doesn’t usually treat them that way anymore, but most older limericks you see will be a bit bawdy.
If we're going old-school on limericks, the last line should basically be a repeat of the first as well.
This might be one of the best YIAYs of late, hands down
Why was this YIAY so enjoyable. I was expecting a dumpster fire, but turns out it had structural rhyme and punchlines. Kinda secretly and surprisingly good?!
