I like these, they are so clean and crisp and fresh-looking. By the way, for anyone in the UK who wants those Finetec metallics, Jackson's Art sells them online, just search for Coliro Finetec on their website (I'm not affiliated, just a customer). This one is the Silk set, but they have other sets too and individual colours, and they look beautiful.

In 2016 at age 69, I taught myself to paint with acrylics. I am 74 yrs old now. There are so many great artists on CZcams to learn styles and techniques. I remember back in the beginning I painted cards since I wanted to "practice" on small pieces. Then I jumped to 5x7 and then 8x10 paper. Now I finally use canvas. But if I have not painted in awhile I go
back to paper. Then if it turns out really nice I do a second one on canvas.
I certainly could paint these cards with watercolors.
You did a beautiful job creating them. God bless you... Dawn

I am 80 years old, and since my pottery hand building classes halted due to COVID I looked for something new after getting tired of knitting and needlepoint. I first tried mandala painting But how many dots can a person paint! So I now have acrylic, watercolor, goauche and pastels. They are all fun even though I have to sometimes resort to stencils since I can’t draw. I think watercolors are the best.
I really enjoy your classes. They have helped a lot. Think I will start making Christmas cards soon.

I would just cut the good watercolor paper to the size I need for the front then, fold card stock in half and use double sided tape or a Google glue stick attach to the dried and finished card front to the main card base.( Every time I
Try to do it on a folder piece, And smudge it up!🥴🤦🏼‍♀️ plus my budget will not allow me to waste good watercolor paper )

Thank you Emma! I appreciate it when you give tips about shaky hands as I have a tremor but I am still trying to learn watercolor! Generally something amazing happens and I am able to paint but sometimes I can use all the hints that I can get!! I think that you have progressed so much since I started watching you and I really like your comments along the way! After all, it is a journey isn’t it?!

I've been trained to do old-school architectural perspectives and our go-to watercolour paints is Prang. I still think these are the best affordable watercolour sets ever!

Thank you so much! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. You’ve given me a wonderful tutorial to copy & maybe even creating another by myself. Your calm voice, while showing your “how to” painting & mixing of colors, makes this an excellent all-around video. I’m looking forward to learning more from you. Again, many thanks for your expertise! How nice it is not to have to leave home for this lesson!

Seeing your techniques of watercolour really helped me a lot. i used to paint, only using the colours on my palette, without mixing them. It wasn't such a good choice because now I see that your colours are different and awesome. Also, I never knew anything about water, so my "paintings" would always have those leaky things that I did not like. Thank you so much for your great art

An amazing tutorial with a very calm and forgiving instructor. I completely enjoyed this as my first attempt back into painting since.......it has been over a decade. Easy, simple, step by step. Obtainable materials. Most of all the freedom to make mistakes and keep moving on. I adore how my cards turned out. I am now doing origami folding to make envelopes then I will be sending my home made cards!

Hi Emma, I'm so glad I accidentally found you. I love the cards! I'm a card maker and but more with dies and other things. We're moving out of state and yep ALMOST Everything is packed up. I did find one pack of water color cards with the envelopes and I think I can get my watercolors out of the box. IF not I will go to the $1 store. These are beautiful and yep, easy! I just hope I remember how to paint. I subscribed and of course gave a thumbs UP! I can't wait to see what else you have for me to do. Well maybe I can, lol, because knowing me I will want to do it right away. Happy holidays and blessings to you and yours!
