DIY simple Christmas CARDS in WATERCOLOR - tutorial with voiceover

- Make a simple, fast and easy cards for Christmas.
This is a card making tutorial with step by step explanations how I made those 4 cars using watercolors. I do not think you should be a painter (or watercolorist) to make them and in my opinion anyone can do it. :)
They can also serve a purpose for any occasion if you draw a suited motive on this background and write you own text. :)

For making cards I used :
***Paper : Canson Montval watercolor paper 300gsm or 140lb
but any watercolor paper will do
***Watercolors : Primary Blue, Indigo, Sap Green, Green, Raw Sienna, Primary Yellow, Sepia
I also used white gouache...
White gel pen from Uni-ball
Masking marker from Solo Goya
but instead you can use white gouache or white marker
***Brushes: Round brush No 4 and 12
but use any one bigger and one smaller round brush

super simple and beautiful! I just need to get the right paper so that the color dries that way yours did. I've been trying all day to get it to dry that way on different projects.

Do you think drawings with a candle would have the same effect as the masking fluid pen? Loving your work !
Not sure. Never did thry that. Maybe depends on the candle. But you should try it and let us know. :)

Beautiful.....so clever and so simple. Can you tell me the brand of gel pen you are using? Mine does not show up in the same way yours does? Also the wax resist pen. I couldn't find one. Thank you.
I was using here Uniball, but lately found out that Posca pen with fine tip is the best one for me.

So beautifull! Could I use white paint in stead of gouache?
What sort of white paint? Wayercolors are transparent and will not be visible. Acrylics or craft paint, yes. You can also use white gel paint or marker.
