reading glasses also have a visual acuity. Just go to the ophthalmologist and find out your prescription

This may be a dumb question but why would you even need glasses in vr? The screen is right in front of your face so (at least if youre shortsighted) it would be fine?

That's what I thought too but no, I'm still unable to see things far away just as I couldn't irl 😭

Yeah. Sadly I can't see anything clearly past a few inches without glasses. Even though the VR lenses are within that range they aren't set up to correctly feed my broken eyes. Still have to wear glasses. Looking forward to trying this out when I get a Quest 3.

In vr your vision mostly works the same in real life. The vr lenses mimic perceived distance. So things should be pretty like for like if your eyesight is bad
