The worriness and hopes in the eyes of wife while lifting up that big utensil was really a mixed one. Overall I'm so happy to see this. I admire their courage to succeed in a city like Mumbai, and the willingness to work hard to make that dream happen albeit from humble surroundings - day after day putting a delicious south Indian breakfast on a plate at just 20/- and yet so much of pride and joy in they way they work. Big salute to this community of food sellers who have understood in their own simple way how to make it happen. Hats off to these folks!

    Atleast their life might change here, no competation as such..

      Well im from tamilnadu,Madurai and we eat idly's almost daily here. its really surprising for me that dharavi, delhi, etc., people are likes idly very much. I thought they like only rotti, chana, etc,. Its nice see this video and ur comment. but yes, 40Rs. for 2 idly's is costly. and 30Rs. for single vada is outrageous lol.😄 Here in my city, at small and decent roadside hotels, 1 idly-5 or 6rs and 1 vada-5 or 6rs. Well yes price varries when we eat in some little big hotels, but definitely not like delhi's price😄. After seeing ur comment im in thinking of opeing a idly shop in delhi lol😁, but with less price.

There are many off record work going in India. And not paying taxes. And we are paying there share of taxes.

      How much they are earning that nothing matter if any person not treated with respects. And by the way they are paying Indirect tax 18% as compare to Income tax 5%. If they are calculated with HUF schedule then thair income will be Nill.

      @uddhavambavane8853 Před 3 lety +3

      @@nithia9133 I will answer to your comment accordingly. first you said they are not equally treated with respect like professional? Well do you know the definition of money. It is 'Money Is What Money Does'. Money is everything. Person who has money has respect. I have a question. If a girl wants to marry a man, whom will she marry a man who has no money and has great respect like a priest or she will marry a man who has got a money. Answer that. Secondly, where are you from? I am from Mumbai. I know what happens in Dharavi. Electricity is robbed by tampering the power lines. Water is robbed by putting holes in the Main pipeline. What terminologies are you using about HUF schedule and all. You are saying their income will be none. A man is earning 5000 rupees a day and your terminology is saying. His income is Nil. What kind of shitty terminology is this? Did you know what materials are they using for making those idlis. You may not be aware. I will throw some light on your knowledge. These people buy remaining cooked rice from hotels and restaurants to make their products. Now will you eat the idlis from these vendors? What hygiene they are maintaining, and you are telling indirect taxes and all. First you should study and research and take deep knowledge, and then answer to my comment. Hope this enlightens you.

    Many touching aspects were captured with this video!
    An example of earnest hard work, second to none.
    Many employed professionals, after qualifying for the job find themselves struggling to find time for themselves.
    No matter how high or noble the job is, reality is harsh and they also become severe, harsh and critical about those, imagined as "lesser" burdened than them.
    People like these slog and still smile.
    Thanks for the video.
