Funai dvd vhs magnavox bd6903 repair part 1 DVR 2677 / 2365

This is a hopefully "only" a two-part series of repairing the funai vhs dvd / magnavox video recorder.
When the VCR powered on, the capstan motor is rotating for few seconds, then endless. All IR receiver working well. messure with voltmeter and interrupt the way) I suspect that I have on two video recorder the same issue with BD6903 capstan motor driver. The other one does not work anymore, since I made accidentaly during messurement with the tip of my voltmeter a short between + and gnd. I have ordered them and need to wait now patiently until they will be delivered. Stay tuned to follow part two when I soldier them in and check if it works or not. Delivery should be 1st Feb week in 2021.
Since this is more an advanced repair be careful with desoldering.
Requirements:
- Advanced soldering skills
- Advanced patience
- Stable hand
- Cooling paste for the driver
Update: spare parts should arrive soon. DHL has Unfortunately additional week delay. So looking for feb 1st week. Oh man...
Update feb 6th, 21: still waiting. Shipped via DHL Express but pending clearance ... 30€ express shipping for nothingness... oh man
