Hi. I don’t know if you already talked about this, but in Sims 2 Apartment Life, if you make friends with someone who works at the furniture factory, the things in buy mode will cost less, and you can sell them immediately for full price. You can actually make money from it.

I found out recently that the prices can also go up temporarily if you piss off the wrong person :D
I forget, this one is a Sim to Sim basis, right? Not a household one?
@@SimsAllAround Hi. I’m pretty sure that if one sim in a household makes friends with a townie who works there, there is a discount for that one household. I think that if they stop being friends, the stuff goes back to normal price. Sorry it took me a while to answer.
@@DonTornado Yeah, I was trying to remember if it would revert when the Sim moved out or not
If your sims get robbed, they will never stop being pissed about it. One of my families, the Parsons, got robbed. Every once in a while, they'd seethe about it. Opal and Lea were kids at the time and they were doing it into adulthood, I even saw them gossip about the robber in college

that happened with mine too! years later they still roll the want to see her ghost
It’s like real life. I got robbed when I was a kid and now I’m still thinking about it once in a while. Those things are not that expensive but they’re memorable to me I guess.
I had a TODDLER want to see the ghost of a robber and she kept that as a core want until she went to college. Little psycho.
You might want to add that the cat/dog destroying the homework makes the homework count as being done, and the kid will get credit for it.
Toddlers can also try and catch butterflies and fireflies.
If I remember correctly, another thing pregnant sims can’t do is clean a litter box. Which is so accurate since it’s something pregnant women shouldn’t do in real life.
Depending on how your Sims' week went, they will comment on that. After one in-game week passed, they may say something like "It was a so-so week" of "Woooooooow, my week was soooo cooool"or something like that depending on how the week went. I think it is a combination of satisfied wants/fears, promotions/degradings, friends/enemies and other things.
It’s entirely based on what their aspiration is at that very moment. Family member died, but lifetime achieved? This was the best week ever!!
In the sims 2 apartement life if you are friend with a neightboor he can take care of your kids instead of calling a nanny

I have noticed the same thing about those marriage rings. Like when I look at a sim walking away, the ring doesn't fade away with the sim.
That means to me that the ring isn't a part of a sim like glasses are. After all, if you manage to click on that ring, you'll get that 'there are no interactions available' message.

I dunno if you're already talked about, but very grouchy and very nice sims will have some funny reactions when talking to other sims .
Also, grouchy sims sometimes will punch their hands when walking (and IIRC, nice sims has some good witch manners).
Grouchy sims will wave angrily at the player when their needs are too low (while nice sims will give a simple wave)
You can change poses for snowman
Teens will react disgusted when seeing their parents flirting
Sloppy sims pee in the shower and of course, they leave a lot of puddles after that. The maids will become mad with then after clean those puddles, and sometimes will sneak around their house to kick the trashcan or steal the newspaper (not only maids will become furious with then, but any sims that clean those puddles, but is really fun see the maid coming to steal the newspaper lol).

Another useful feature I noticed is that when you have Mansion & Garden Stuff pack and you buy one or few solar panels, you save money on the bills.

The graphics of The Sims 2 are so great. Look like that it was made just 2 year before Sims 4!

I also just found out that partners can serenade while their partner is sitting down and I thought that was neat too
Can it be stuff from TS3 too? Because I recently found out that with TS3 ITF you can travel to the future and check for the lotto archives in oasis landing's center building, once you do it and go back to the present, you can actually "buy the winner lotto ticket" and you can earn even 150.000 simoleons from this, idk if everyone knows this, but that made me so happy 😂😂😂😂

it depends on the luck too. mine trying once, my sim got a million. but when I tried with other sim, he only got 50k.
Pregnant Sims also cannot clean the litterbox! :D
I've found out like today that if you have a sim in a sport career lvl 5+ the sim will sometimes have games to attend to, and this sim's household can watch that game for free because of him/her... seriously, it is such a little detail but it also made me happy

You can’t place cars pathway in a lot if there are leafs in the way, you need to clean them up fist!

When sims go out of their house in the morning they will protect from sunlight with their hand; if they are taking out trash they will use the same hand covering themself with trash 😂😂 (tried with Don Lotario)
Yes! This came with sims 2 seasons and it has to be very sunny outside

Cats can also eat your Sims' food in The Sims 3 (they even re-used the animation). They can even eat from the birthday and wedding cakes! 🎂

@@intruderzit I expected that, but just so you know it, i only play The Sims 3. I grew up with it and i like some of features a lot more than The Sims 4.
Sims can only slide down spiral staircases in the sims 3 if they have the childish trait or is a child. Sims 4 doesn’t have spiral staircases and sims cannot slide down railings at all in that game.

There's a thing that I always found scary about the sims 2. In the past this thing usually used to happen while I was playing: One of my sims became transparent and a message appeared: "your sims died on another lot, he will return in spirit to the place of his dearh". I don't understand why this appeared while I was doing nothing wrong with my sims and while he wasn't even visiting a community lot or another kind of lot. Can someone please explain this to me?

Did you already know that a mother and a child can share a double bed, like they both can sleep inside of it buuut if the mother sleeps with a male Sim whether is her husband or not, the kid will no longer want to sleep in that bed. He/she will react disgusted 🛏️
It's these many little details that make you miss playing sims 2 the most. Of course gameplay and graphics are awesome too

Not sure if you mentioned it in other videos - sims (I suppose this feature came up in Free Time pack) can apologize to another sims after they angered them (for example cheating, not coming on a date etc.) You just click Appreciate -> Apologize. Also when a sim loses their best friend, if they have the BFF status, it seems that it is more easy to reconcile with them and become friends again. Another lovely feature I noticed recently is that when kids go to bed, once they fall asleep, their parents can read them to sleep. (Although the kids are asleep already, lol)

Finding treasure chest was very first thing it happened to me aftet I installed Bon Voyage for the first time... I didn't know how lucky I got until I tried to find it with my other Sims 🤣😅

Idk if this has been mentioned before but if a toddler is viewing an aquarium, adult sims may come over and view it with them. It looks like the adult bends down and will point things out to the toddler when they do

Ah yes, I remember the first time I accidentally killed the maid in The Sims 2 because my house was so dirty she just kept working... I was playing on the Specter family though, so it was okay, I just burried her in their graveyard and hired a new maid

Hey could you make a video about subhood Magic in apartmentlife? These two castles there I had never visited and didnt know they even existed ! The term sub-Neighbourhoods in sims 2 were all new to me
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but this one time when the kitchen was on fire..The first thing the mommy did was she took her baby(not toddler) and ran out of the house.that was the most realistic thing I saw on sims2 although she put her baby on the pavement and ran back to put out the fire..lol

Turns out my Sims hunger bar goes down really quickly if my sim reads a book about cooking.

Another fun detail is that pregnant sims do not change clothes when using work out machines. My pregnant sim went spinning in her undies.
