Just got the cheat gainer after watching this video! A tip for whoever seems to be stuck at an orizontal rotation in the air: lean back a little while you're doing the last step of the setup, not only when you jump and kick your leg in the direction of your shoulder, not even an inch wider!
Really like your tutorials man... Thank you for the visuals too (arrows, etc) they really help me get a hold of the moves better

I really love your tutorials btw!!...Therez only one problem...I'm 30+ years old, (only being doing it for 2-3 years, coz I didn't realize these vids were out there!)..But I LOVE to dance!!.. after watching a few bboy movies along with youtube stuff I just couldn't get enough of it!!...y'know??!!...What I do know is that I WANT to dance like all you guys, and have massive respect for all the hard work and dedication the bboys/bgirls show when battling!!...But now therez another problem,, when I do decide to practice for like 30-45mins every day it turns into 4-5 HOURS as I'm SOOOO determined to learn the moves!!!
Also for people that maybe don't have enough cash to get gym memberships or whatever, it really keeps you fit and has even made me re-evaluate my life. But there is some goods news though...The club that I go to at weekends has pretty good floor space to get busting some dope moves and I was the only one in the club to be breaking and then people stop to watch and cheered and then over the past year there are people perhaps like myself that have started doing it as well!!..Last week there was another 3 guys that showed up and took to the dancefloor, and for one tiny little moment all that was in my mind was watching the bboys battling in the clubs etc on CZcams and I felt so overwhelmed I just had to join in!!
Anyway, I had a great idea for the club and have spoken to the manager to see if he would be okay with arranging a little battle, clear a small part of the floor for those that have the skills (or not)lolol..And even told him that if something like that was to take place in his club, I could pretty much guarantee more people would come to watch or just have a special type of experience that hasn't been done before (In my town anyway)!!.Thank you......Dougie

how hard is it for beginners?
Stock Szabolcs it's hard for me. i'm not very flexible - as a kid, i struggled with forward rolls. even when i started pk, it took me 3 months of solid practice to get the shoulder roll down. trying to get this or a flip? might take forever for me.

What helped me is, learn it on a trampoline first, then on a trampoline but without having to bounce and then grass, the progression spedup how fast I learnt it.
How the hell can you do this on tranpoline?? I can not get the jump from one leg...

If you do tae kwon do its kinda like doing a 360 kick just adding more vertical and twisting motion
dude your're a genius because i recently started doing that but still wanted a cheat gainer as well
if you recently started your a long way from a 360 kick you learn that at brown or the butterfly at blue which is a 360 but I don't think it is

If you have a tricker/ martial art style aerial then do a swingthrough into tricker aerial then you got a slant gainer. And by not turning your hips to the side but still going off axis you got a cheat gainer.

hey im a 13 year old freerunner form Texas and im learning the cheat gainer on the ground i can do a good 1 on a trampoline not jumping but like a j step but i need and want to learn it on the ground i have tryed it on the ground but i need help getting off the ground you have any advice for me on jumping i to the cheat gainer???

Hey pigmie, should i use my strong leg as my jumping leg or the strong leg as my swinging leg.
Danny U. which leg do you kick with? use that one. also figure out which way you do your twists like b twist, maybe kicks, if you're a tricker. If you cant do any of these do a cartwheel, and if you start with your left hand down first, kick with your right. right hand down first, kick with your left. it really doesn't matter, its all up to you, but if you want to combo your moves without having to switch directions, do it this way
your kicking legs will be same of cartwheel and cheat gainer and also b twist

Question: Why is it called a cheat gainer? I can do a gainer but barely a cheat gainer. It scares the crap out of me. It's technically a gainer with a 180 in it.

Since you're already above ground level, don't focus on getting as much height, though more of the timing, You'll have to be ready for the ground a little later than standing...and while you're in the air, think as light as a feather...

If you have little knowledge about flips or if you can do a backflip this flip should be pretty easy for you. it's actually one of the easiest flips took me 3 days to learn
For some reason i do not get at all how to do this. I keep doing dumb looking 360 with kicking someone please help

Hey Pigmie I have a question. I did this on accident one time when I was messing around and perfectly landed it. When I tried again on a mattress, I landed on my neck and it seriously hurts. Now I'm too afraid to do it and my body will mess up...how can I practice this without dying?

So to do this cheat gainer I have to learn how to backflip first ? or can I just do this first im always scared of doing backflips like for ex I jump in the air but im too scared to tuck my knees in and about halfway in I just land on my back ? any help please
If you don't know how to backflip at all don't try cheat gainer outside man. There is no magic, even if those are two different move it's a rotation in the air that is hard to find. You really should train in a gym with professional people to help you, and i would really recommend to begin with a simple back flip first.
Please excuse my english if there is mistakes, i am french, and i learned how to backflip few month ago, it's hard, but totally worth it :D

David, learn how to do the baby steps he demonstrated. Practice those for a solid 2 weeks. Then go to a gym and practice a solid gymnastics center will have the proper equipment you need so that you don't get busted up on your first couple of attempts. Once you get really solid at the gymnastics center over the next 2 days then you will be 100% ready to do it outside. Ps you don't need a trainer. As long as you get the muscle memory down everything else is all about simply flexibility and energy to make the maneuver. Most injuries in this field occur from people who are over confident. It's really easy to stay safe by simply never pushing yourself beyond what you feel comfortable doing. Regardless of training. Also clothes can be restrictive so while your practicing less is more. In the video he takes off his shirt. I used to practice shirtless and shoeless. Although you need a shirt at the gymnastic center. Also the ground I practiced on was slightly moist and clay like.
I can do this trick but i can't backflip so yo can do it too.
On the first trys I didn't go completely vertical and I touched the ground with my hands. If you practice a lot you can get it :)
It's hard for my because it's kinda like a corkscrew and I cannot do a fort screw no matter how many time I try or how many times I watch ur corkscrew vid. I feel like this is harder than a corkscrew and that's meh problem
