Easy Oreo | Cookies and Cream |American Buttercream Frosting Tutorial

This Oreo frosting tastes just like the real thing! It has so many cookies that the frosting is a bit darker than most cookies and cream, so if you prefer to use less cookies this will still work!
4 sticks unsalted butter
4 tsp vanilla
7 cups powdered sugar
pinch of salt
3 - 5 tbsp of heavy whipping cream

I actually think the color is really interesting. On camera it looks almost metallic, but in a good way, not in an eating mercury kind of way LOL. On the cake decorating tutorial, I was curious how it got that color and found this video. I knew Oreos well mixed in ice cream or Blizzards can kind of get a grey color, but well incorporated like this video it’s almost silvery. Very cool.

@@its_abby_abigail It’s so cool. If anyone was weirded out after making it, they could always add contrasting food coloring colors. I don’t think it’s necessary at all though!
