I just made this today for my 8year olds birthday. Fantastic as always. No flaws! Surpassed all expectations, and I don't even like Oreos and I loved it! I did top vanilla cupcakes with it!!! I got tons leftover.

I absolutely love this recipe! The cream cheese really elevates the flavour of the buttercream. I’ve used this recipe as filling for macarons, whoopie pies and also for decorating cakes. It tastes amazing with or without oreos. Thank you for the recipe

OMG.....This is my Favorite as well. I make Doughnuts stuffed with this Oreo Buttercream 😋 I also restuff my Oreos with this and dip them in Chocolate and decorate with Sprinkles or what ever depending on the Holiday. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Yes you can keep it in the fridge up to a week. Let it come back to room temperature before using

My last cake was chocolate black cocoa cake with oreo frosting and it was hard to smoothe on the sides of my cake .. But it tasted wonderful so it was worth it !! Lol

Exactly what brand of butter do you use?? I’ve used imperial and land o lakes but neither them seem to get my frosting fluffy or to the right consistency.

Wouldn't adding 3 lbs of powdered sugar make the frosting super sweet? I remember making your fruity pebbles cake and that frosting was also super sweet. They are still super delicious and I love your recipes I watch your videos all the time! I was just wondering if it tasted super sweet and if so, is there a way to dial that down a bit?
That’s just how American buttercream is. If you cut back on the sugar you will get runny, unpipeable frosting. Swiss meringue buttercream is less sweet but is also less stable than ABC

I was making this oreo buttercream right now and as I was adding the sugar and tasting it, for my personal taste since I dislike buttercream, there is no way I'll be adding all three pounds of sugar it's to extreme for me. I stoped after 1 pound and instead of the remaining sugar, I added more salt, vanilla and 3 tbsp of my homemade salted caramel and for stability I added a couple of tbsp of corn starch and gelatin mass. I only added 10 oreo cookies without the frosting and it's delicious. The cream cheese makes it so delicious.
Do you have to use all of that sugar and if you dont what are the effects of it 🤔🤔🤔
The powdered sugar adds stability and if you don’t uses much she will have a buttery runny frosting
Can I replace the heavy cream with regular milk?
It’s not as quite as good and a little goes a long way but yes it will work.
Also I have heavy wipping cream only, do you think that would be better or milk?

You should check where it is coming from, if says anything related to cows it is butter, if not it’s margarine

@@NeuroticMomBakes not sure going to try but I saw it on Savy cakes I believe it looked good so I asked if there's a condensed milk taste and they said no.
Listen here they can figure out the grams on their own just like we do over here trying to follow their recipes overseas and us here in the US r struggling trying to decide if we should or shouldn’t buy a darn scale in our kitchen. They can go buy measuring cups too!
Not that I don't understand your frustration but please keep in mind many countries don't sell US measuring cups and it's difficult to convert cups and pounds and ounces into grams while trying out new recipes. I think it's really nice of the lady to make her work more accessible and easy to follow. We should be grateful for that extra step she's taking. It also means she's actually cares for her followers :)
