this was literally the best travel guide to madeira ive seen, even tho u didnt do the surfing and the high-points hike! but you showed more of the island life, did not only went from point to point, but really explored. also felt like when u were alone, u could move more freely!! was nice to see

I'm a South African born Madeiran currently living in Cape Town, but my wife and I are planning to move to Madeira in a couple of months due to high crime and lack of employment in South Africa. It's stressful moving to another country, leaving friends and family...and despite all the problems, Cape Town is still a beautiful place. But your videos have given me some affirmation that we're doing the right thing (...and Madeira is just as pretty 😍)

I am really disappointed reading this. Each youtube video I post is supposed to serve a different purpose to my viewers. Whether it be to show off a hike in detail, or the foods from a city. In this case, I scripted and wrote this full comprehensive itinerary which people can hopefully gain value from when planning their trip... None of my other videos do that. The travel guides were actually the sole reason I used to travel and made this channel, not for the daily vlogs. I only started doing those in depth vlogs because it was not feasible to travel abroad for just 1 video.
Re travelling, I made a video detailing how my travels are actually work. I offset all my expenses by shooting promo footage, photography for hotels, excursions etc, so yes, 3k on a laptop is a lot of money to me, especially considering I lost my job due to covid and CZcams does not pay me a salary to post these videos you get to enjoy.
Crazy I actually feel like I have to mitigate my rationale to you, but this comment has really hit a nerve... I owe you absolutely nothing. I post content because I love to, and its a massive bonus when I read comments from people that enjoy the work I spend house tirelessly editing. I make these videos for myself, and people like Max that help to keep this community alive. I do not want negativity on this channel, as for me it defeats the point, and is a sure fire way to encourage someone to call it a day.
