Beyond hyped for Contractz. Probably the best "Feel Good" story arc of our League in a the Franchise Era.
Happy that this took place in Newark where I work and finally after 10+ years got the chance to go to an LCS event, finals no less cause my friend won VIP tickets in a company raffle. Crowd was fucking electric which makes sense since this state is filled with Italianos like me. Grats to NRG and hope all the players enjoyed the gems Newark has to offer!

I enjoyed this. Unlike a certain other stream that 100% focuses on the mistakes people make, you all actually call out the good moves players are making which is the exact thing that forces those mistakes. Much more insightful commentary.

This particular cast seemed more useful and interesting than the IWD cast where they spent the entire time of the FINALS going "omg so terrible so bad wow so dumb" with a bunch of players who didn't make finals

Agreed, when we saw Yeon play Kaisa there was clearly a much smaller impact across his games. FBI just played this series insane, nothing more to it.
In top regions for this split Kaisa was picked 312 times and had a 54% winrate and a kda of 5.0 across all wins and losses, not to take anything away from FBI but she's pretty good.

Soaz finally has an LCS title
29:10 as someone who was there and made a few signs with my friend, at no point were any of our signs checked. Maybe this was cuz I had a suite (last second cheap resale bless), while they were mostly showing the lower venue on screen, but I really doubt they checked each sign entering there, there were no notices or any staff I could see dedicated to that. On a side note, absolute banger of a final to watch in person!

I feel like Berserker in general has been carrying C9 for most part. Him having zven as support is like giving f1 capable driver a golf cart for race. It drives forward alright but with that cart he will never see hes true potential.

I’m glad LS was able to reset a bit at the end of the stream. Really owned up to that he was distracted (even though there isn’t a lot/it’s very hard for him to do something about it based on his specific neuro patterns/behaviors). And despite that really collected his thoughts well to talk about what this means for NA and how important it was that strategy beat player strength here as he is probably the biggest proponent of this in the whole scene. But the truth is, any team the FBI joins, always wins. fromGG to 100T, and now NRG, always went from being a team to be looked down upon to being a team to be respected, what else you want? Even in EG, if it was not for the severe COVID-19 outbreak of everyone in EG at that time, C9 probably would not have won the championship at that time.

I've been saying it ever since Zven switched to Sup but he is not just a real sup player and I know berserker chose to stay with Zven but I think he was just being a bro because there is no way he doesn't do better with real supports like Vulcan, Corejj, and Huhi. Theres a reason the best sup in the world Keria doesn't even worry about C9 specifically because of Zven and this is from a C9 fan who is happy NRG won.

They also roasted c9 the entire time for terribly misplaying and having bad calls? I will say re: the sign fiasco. Signs weren't being checked by RIOT employees when they were being made, they were being checked by PRUDENTIAL CENTER employees as the fans were making their way into the venue. So as far as the cookielol sign goes, it would have been made without Riot supervision, and then because the employees at the prudential center probably don't foloow streamer drama much, they assumed it was fine because it didn't contain and profanity, graphic imagery, offensive content, etc.
Doesn't give a pass to the people who cut to it on stream, but does explain how it was able to get into the building without any issue,
