one of the best game ive watched in the LCS, i watched high lights, then go back and watch the entire live stream cause i still had it on my computer before it was unavailible. then i came here to watch the ur whole recaps of the match again. its that good. Ive never watch a series more than once.

I think NRG winning this split was the best thing for NA. Not only because they stuck together for so long and leveled up, but because it's going to also remind C9 that there are teams that can beat their style -- Berserker can't be the only threat if they'd like to compete internationally, and they can't just pick random champions for him. They're going to have a fire under them this worlds (I reckon) since there's not only international but DOMESTIC teams that can counter their strategies.
They will be prepped, NRG will be on a high, TL has a more exciting style, and GG (once they crush EU) will be on a high as well. I think this worlds could really see some of the furthest runs so far for NA.
Consider the 2018 semi-finals run for C9: It started with them losing in the finals (and being 10th in the regular season halfway thru the split) and took them as far as it did.
C9 got deluded that anyone besides their ADC is legit consistently good. Blaber is obviously good but he's not "consistently winning games on his own" level of good like Inspired was on EG's crazy run, Berserker was though. And for some reason they pick Draven and don't play to Berserker's win condition... Fudge being delusional about him being a good top laner (easy to say in NA lmao) and Blaber having the Zven training weights is holding them back a lot.

I want to hear their (especially Meteos) reaction to the fact that they nearly first time picked Jax, Neeko and a few other champs this game. Reminds me of a mini rant Meteos had on first timing champs on stage. Usually Teams get rolled doing that, but NRG was like f it. Its broken and/or C9 had our number before so lets try something new. To be fair Dokhola was playing that in solo que though, and Meteos may have meant first timing period on stage(not just like playing champ you haven't scrimmed with. The sauce is Travis Gafford most recent interview with Palafox.

Overall not a bad series, but C9 really did not perform well. Especially berserker could've played way better, but sometimes that's just how it goes.
It was just another NA final that already shows why groups is how far NA goes every time. Luckily they are saved from that this year, but I doubt it is going to help them perform.
No NA team from this year or the last 2-3 years is better than NA at its "prime", while the other regions are still getting better.
