This sounds amazing
I made borscht for the first time on the weekend.
But decided to really intensify the beef broth flavor by pressure cooking the beef with herbs and aromatics, beef broth cubes etc and water.
Strained the broth and let cool and refrigerate to take out the harded fats.
I wish I had made this before, it has become one of my most favorite soups. Already planning to make it next week.
Update:
Since making this over 3 months ago, I have made it 5 times..including today...December 30, 2022.
Praying for peaceful resolution of the conflict. Very challenging because of leaders of USA/UK/CAN/EU interference.
Please, don't pressure cook a traditional dish.
Please, pressure cook a traditional dish.
Pressure cook? You are funny
Sounds delicious, but wouldn't removing the fat take away from the flavor? You don't remove the fat from a pot roast; I don't anyways. If I were to leave the fat in, would it ruin the dish?
great recipe. thanks
It is very nice soup. Thank you for teaching to cook Russian Borscht recipe Soup.
Exactly! russian borscht does not exist, do this dish is called russian red soup 🤣
It is an original recipe from Ukraine, even the recipes are being stolen bu russia, wow!
@@JustPassingBy2010Dude Borscht is literally just slavic and Ukraine didn't exist when it was made. This is some insane hill to fight on since Poles, Russians, Belorussian, even Romanians and Moldovans have their own version of the same Beetroot soup.
Ukrainianazis are so easily triggered.
Looks delicious, thank you for sharing)
Thank you

Why Slavic cuisine is so underrated?
I like my borscht with beef. Looks good!
Borscht is older than the country of ukraine
What "country"?
_Borscht is older than the country of ukraine_
And spaghetti is older, than country Italia. Spaghetti is not Italian dish?
Wow perfect soup for the cold weather yum 😋
What song is this I need to know
What a perfect RUSSIAN dish - from London :)
This soup is a good start! I would suggest you look around on youtube for further ideas as you usually see how dishes are made!
Borscht is not a russian soup. It is a Ukrainian national dish. And in Ukraine we newer look at Borscht as at a kind of soup.
There are many different recipes of Borscht. All of these recipes can be grouped into 4 groups: Ukrainian Red Borscht, Fermented Red Borscht, Green Borscht, and White Borscht.
russians managed to announce only Ukrainian Red Borscht as their invention. I'm not sure if they heard about another version of Borscht. Once they will hear about these versions of Borscht, they appropriate it also.
russian Borscht it is something like russian sushi or russian pizza.

There is no need to reinvent the scooter. Borscht has been known since the times of ancient Rus', even before the ancient Russian ethnic group was divided into Great Russians, Belarusians and Little Russians. After that, borscht entered the cuisines of these countries as a national dish equally for all three countries.
Even other Eastern European and central Asians eat it
