If you enjoyed this video and want us to do more of these in the future, let us know below ⬇️
I have a confusion. I did a simple lift and opponent keeps me a smash but I am ready to take the smash but shuttle the it goes to end of the court because the shuttle is feather it doesn't stop so how would I pick up the shuttle
@@Senselessbrothers Well, play with feather more and you will better understand their trajectory.. If playing with plastic then try yonex 600 they have a trajectory that is closer to feather than yonex 300, as the yonex 600 drops more steeply than the yonex 300 after they are high, whereas the yonex 300 is more horizontal on the way down. A lot of good players will only play with feather. Different shuttles change things. Even a different hall can change things. Practise some rallying and particular shots with the shuttle before the game.
Hey Greg and Jenni, keep doing videos like this!
I have a couple of clips that I need help with and I've seen plenty of players making the same mistake. I can send you the clips if you think it will help with your videos
I definitely want to see more of these insights! They will pretty much help every player with their weaknesses! Thank you Jenny and Greg for an awesome video once again!
Hey, Bennet here from Germany. Thank you very very much for including my video ! I’m rlly happy about that. Also thanks for the tips, I’ll try my best to improve ❤️
Thanks for sending us in a video Bennet! Glad we could help ☺️🙏🏼
What an amazing video full of so many 'insights' 😜 I'm sure lots of people (including me!!) want to see more of these videos in the future! Who agrees?
Me 😃
Yes, I love these types of videos.
Thank you very much Harry 😀 there certainly has been a lot of people wanting another video like this!
Agreed

That clap-cut transition was unexpected but awesome!
Haha thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Their match cuts are honestly really good
Not only do you give great advice for badminton, I can tell you also have a keen insight into audience retention and creating CZcams videos which are very engaging. The fact you recommend multiple videos every video will create a longer session time which is gold dust to the CZcams algorithm. Very impressive, I think you are the only CZcams channel which actually creates good content also that isn't completely boring and dry! Quick and you get to the point!
Thanks a lot this is is great to hear! We are trying our best to do these yes 😀
It is so satisfying when the title is not a clickbait and in fact the information in the video is top notch. You guys deliver every time. Thank you so much for this one :-)
Thanks for watching ☺️🙏🏼
I am a doctor with 185 cm height. Played almost all sports in childhood including Badminton though all amateur level. Now at 45 restarted badminton after gap of almost 25 years. Didn’t know much technique, slight overweight as well. I am a subscriber of your videos & try to watch many times whenever I find time especially before playing. Improving slowly but surely. Your videos are simply the backbone of my current badminton playing. Will try to catch up if you come to India. Be my guest in Indore, central India. Regards.🙏
Wow that’s great to hear! Hopefully we’ll continue to help you 😀😀 We’d also love to come to India at some point!
@@BadmintonInsightBe our guest at Chandigarh, India on the same trip! 😅
Me and my dad are loving your videos. He is 65, and one of the fittest on the court from his age group. 😮
This was a very good video👍🏻you guys should do a review on the legends in MS (LCW, Lin Dan, Taufik & Peter)
Thank you so much William! And thanks for the suggestion 😃🏸
Yes that would be great !
Why would they do that
@@tanyapunyo2074 because what the pros see in other pros' playstyle is something every amateur would fail to see and incorporate in their game.

Excellent insight, broken down for us in digestible ways as always. 👍 Would certainly agree that this will be a popular type of video to come back to occasionally. Picking up a variety of issues at a variety of levels is another enticing aspect to this!
Thank you so much for the lovely words 😊 it’s definitely a video we’ll look to do again in the future!
This is awesome! So many insights. Will definitely keep these in mind. You guys are really making difference in our approach and understanding to our game! Thank you.
Thank you very much, that’s great to hear 😀😀
Watching these videos have improved my gameplay significantly and now I'm much more confident in my gameplay. By far the best channel for learning how to play Badminton in my opinion
Thanks a lot Andrew, that’s great to hear 😀😀
Thank you so much for making an amazing video regarding small mistakes in badminton. I struggled with a few of these, and I found this very helpful, and now I am practicing the correct techniques. Thank you once again

Amazing video and super helpful, thank you! Also was pleasantly surprised to see the video from Seattle is from the court I play at every week! :)
Thank you so much Kartik! Haha, small world!!
The re-creation of the situation on court is excellent! Such original content as well!
Thanks a lot 😄😄
That was great, really learned a lot, i will save this one for later !
It especially helps to make the connection between the amazing tips from other videos and the reality, hope we can see more of these in the future :)
Thank you so much! 😃 we definitely want to make more in the future like this!

really really good video, super educating and very relatable with these clips! great job 👍👍
Thank you so much ☺️ so nice of you!
More snappy, entertaining editing and I don't think you could find two more enthusiastic and motivating presenters anywhere on CZcams if you tried. Really interesting précis and hats tipped to all who submitted their videos for the G&J review. This type of analysis is great when you link it to BI's ever growing library of instructional content. If you're not subscribed to 'Badminton Insight' you're missing out on a dynamic and hugely enjoyable resource.👍🏸🏸🏸
Yeah it's really rare and almost completely unknown, for such enthusiastic people to be so intelligent. I've never seen anything like it before
Haha thank you so much!! ☺️
What a lovely comment Drew! Thank you so so much 😄😄
LOVED this video format!! more please
Great content! Thanks 👍
Please do more of these!
Great content! Thanks for another insightful video ^^
Very good video!!! Great work! Practicing some of your techniques improved my game to a new level. Thank you! This video probably nailed my issue with backhand clear. I either miss 25% of them and the remaining 75% are very weak. I feel it is from TOO EARLY OVERHEAD PREPARATION making it difficult to move backward fast enough to get in a good position or from being too stiff.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video and found it quite informative. Watching other amatuer player's mistakes is a great way to learn organically, as these errors really are common throughout all amatuers.
Your video editing, and camera presence has also been getting better every time, well done. My favourite parts are always any dramatic tantrum after demonstating an error (slap in the forehead, throwing a racket etc haha).
Also, I'm from Australia and my name is Steyn, pronounced Steen. Hearing "Stijn" was trippy, very rarely do I ever hear my name in other contexts :)
Thanks for the video!
That’s great to hear Steyn 😀 and thank you very much for the compliments!! We’d hopefully coming to Sydney in November if you’re around!
@@BadmintonInsight Woohoo! I am in Adelaide and will be too far to be around, but I look forward to hearing about your trip when it comes! Are you competing? Or on a holiday?
Excellent video Greg & Jenny, and a detailed explanation about the errors that some of us are making.
More videos like this are very much helpful for us to improve our game😊🏸👍
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it 😀

Great video as always! Thank you!
Thanks! You’re very welcome 😄
So many great "Insights" on this video!🔥🔥 Having more "umph!" is exactly what I need to quickly get in a position to play a better attacking shot in doubles! Would love to see tutorial video on cross court net shots. Backhand in particular as that is what I keep struggling on.
Thanks 😀 and thanks for the suggestion - we’ll add it to our list!
After your request we have released a video on the cross court net shot today! Hope you enjoy it 😀 Here's the link - czcams.com/video/1p0Nv5-90e8/video.html
Great video guys 👍It looks effortless to do, but I can only imagine the hours of video editing you guys went through. Thank you for another insightful video on different techniques and strategies to use in a game🏸🏸🏸

I use the variation in shot speed a lot especially if I am on third line. Can tell you it’s super important to do this. Great insight. A very few people talk about this
