Viktor is without a doubt a machine, no-one comes close at the moment. The mens singles game now needs someone, or preferably a few players, to step up to challenge him consistently. There was a reason the LD-LCW era was so good.
if only momota wasnt so unlucky lol
@@tunafishmaki My eyes were recently opened to what Momota had endured and what a rival he could possibly have been. That said it was really unfortunate
@@uramis00 wait what happened to Momota? I haven't followed badminton for years. I remember Momota beating Victor easily few times in a row back then. Wasn't Momota considered a potential candidate to surpass Lin Dan?
@@calvin9187 After he won a tournament in Malaysia i think, he got into an accident, I think some people were killed even and he was lucky to be alive
@@uramis00 I remember that, but didn't he recover soon afterwards and get back to form?

@@EpicFishGamer Thank you so much!
Wow this is one of your best videos yet!! Your attention to detail, editing and effort is why youre my favourite badminton youtube channel!! Keep up the great work and congratulations on 200k subscribers!! 😀
Ah thank you so much Harry - that's so kind 🤗
I love this video! Can you do an analysis for Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei aswell?
i think Viktot learnt a lot when he was playing against Lin Dan.. specially during the Yonex Japan Open 2015
He was from the era LCW and LD.. And he play so good fight against this two kings.. That why he so beast right now.. No one is good enough to beat him .. 😆😉😄
Super job! Love you channel. Viktor is committed to being the best. This comes in part from the Danish tradition with respect for badminton athletes and early introduction to the sport. He trains very hard and is very strong so he can do things many players cannot do, especially late in a match. Some Danish players have said they only practice two hours per day, but they mean two hours of high intensity, quality on-court work combined with a lifestyle of cross training, diet, quality sleep and persistent curiosity about the sport. Thanks for highlighting Viktor and his steps to success!
Thank you so much Mark! And yes you make a great point! ☺️
The Viktor Axelsen’s jump smash with chest out was really useful. I found myself having a more consistent and faster jump smash with that technique.
Thanks for putting so much time into these videos! They are really informative and congrats on 200k!!
Wow, I am really stunned by the quality of this video. One can see that you have put a lot of work into the research, analysis and editing of this video. Good job!
Thank you for making such a valuable and compact video available to us for free!
Hi Greg and Jenny I would like to request you review lee zii Jia and also justify why he is the only player capable to beat Viktor axelsen
Momota has beaten Axelsen more times than anyone else!
He truly is the best player, he has strategy and lots of power along with his height, making him unstoppable. You guys are also amazing because you put in so much hard work for the video, thank you for the tips
That Shot Selection analysis made such a great point. And also adds reason to why LCW would just dominate Viktor whenever they played. LCW was one of the Greatest ever that the sports has seen in net shots.
First of all, congratulations on 200k subscribers!!
What an insightful video this is. Your attention to small things about Viktor has made this video even more special. Thank you for investing your time to make these wonderful videos for us 🙏🏼
Thanks a lot Umesh 😃😃
Top top top quality video! Amazing analysis and thanks so much for putting this together
Excellent Video! Really loved the in depth analysis on professional players game. I think y’all should do this more often as it really helps us identify how to play better. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😀😀
Very good video, a lot to learn and great analysis of VA! Also an important part of why he's so good, is that he really improved his defense over the last couple of years.
Thanks a lot 😀 Yeah he has - a lot down to his movement!
I am really glad that ive came across your channel! Immediately subscribe!! I really learned alot! I hope I can apply the things that I learned here on the court :D more power to you!!! God bless both of you and your team!!!

HI guy! Congratulations and thanks for the fabulous content you produce in your videos! I like your technical analysis, your way to find solutions and answers that required a lot of thinking and your well writen scripts! You seems to do this effortlessly because the result is neat, articulated, well explained and very fun to watch. As a content producer myself, I know the hard work and dedication it represents to deliver such good videos! Bravo! I'm not a native english langage guy but when I watch your videos, I don't need to pause or rewing too much for the sake of understanding. This is SO GREAT! I think that having a female and male perspective is a tremendously refreshing! Your video are really useful and fun to watch. So thanks, thanks, thanks! Love! ❤
Great Video ❤️❤️ and Congratulations on 200k subs 🔥🔥💪🏸

Thanks Daniel :)
Thank you for this kind of videos you are producing. I hope more people will know your channel. God bless to both of you and Good luck to your future games!
Congrats on 200k subs.. you guys awesome and deserved it
Thank you so much 🤗
Another thing I like abt Viktor is his attitude, whether it comes to praising opponents, encouraging trickshots in training, questioning umpire’s bad calls even when unfavorable for him(nowadays)..
Publicity. Also, if he is winning by a big margin he likes to joke which is psychologically damaging for the opponent and entertaining for the audience. It's all very clever.
You guys are really doing hard work for us appreciate it👏
great insights! thanks for sharing this and your own experiences
You’re welcome! Glad you found it insightful 😀
Fun fact: At a young age Viktor cursed himself being so tall wishing he was shorter, since that was the norm back then for all good badminton players, he didn't think he could become one of the best because of his height. Now people are arguing that being so tall is an advantage in many cases in badminton, but that's literally only because of Axelsen. You wouldn't hear that argument 10 years ago.
amazing as always your videos are the best in terms of Badminton content. congratulations 👏👏👏👏
Thanks a lot 😀😀
Congrats on 2L subscribers,Greg and jenny, lots of information learned from your video keep doing love from India🇮🇳

Wow thank you so much Arnaud ☺️
Very informative video.Keep up the good work
So glad you enjoyed it! 🤗
Nice video always . I personally feel beyond all these , two words that describe Viktor - Hunger - to outperform & Desperation - to win more and more titles . That's what is making him the best on tour right now .
Excelent content guys, i really enjoyed this one and very informative😊
That’s great to hear 😄
Great video as always! Congrats on 200K!! 👏👏
But may I ask, when is the right time to attack?
I am totally loving this video 🎥💓

Thank you so much 🤗 So nice of you!!
Recently found your channel, well done. I like the in-depth analysis.
Thanks! 😊
Thanks for the happy and insightful video.
You’re welcome Machiel 😀
Viktor is a really intelligent and disciplined athlete no doubt about that! On the part about consistency, in 2018/19 when Kento was at the top of his game, he used the same strategy against Viktor that Viktor is now using to play against him - no unforced errors, opponent has pressure to play winning shots and makes more mistakes. I remember there was a match where the score line was 21 to single digits and Kento was not smashing. If Kento restored his old form, I wonder if the score line would be closer?
Really good analysis and entertaining video!
Thanks ☺️
it is very good to watch not only your can learn something but can motivate you as well to perform better in badminton.
thank you for your priceless effort greg and jenny also to make this video happen I will take your advise and suggestions to improve my game and also if ever were gonna play a game I will make sure that i will make you sweat so hard hahahahah god bless and continue inspiring us

Thank you so much ☺️ very kind words!
Spot on, good job on your research
Very nice video ! One of the best 👍👍

he gets mad easily yes, but man his fight and winning mentality is just superb. You guys jus did amazing analyze and what a work, I can't thank enough. Terima kasih, cheers.
Thanks for the wonderful video.
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it! 😀
Your editing is reminding me more and more of arun from the mr who's the boss youtube channels editing. It really keeps the viewer engaged and i'm really excited to see you evolve your editing to be more like his!
however please remember to not go for perfection with everything you make, burnout is a real thing!
Haha we actually watch some of his videos - that might be where it has come from! We always want it to be the best of our abilities but you are right! Thanks for the comment 😀
@Badminton Insight Huge thanks for sharing wonderful analysis. I would like to request an analysis to do video on Kevin Sanjayan & Gideon helps doubles players alot
Really love this channel. +1 FC from Thailand.
Thanks a lot 😀😀
Congratss for 200k 🎉
Thanks 😀🎉
You are doing great job this helps me alot
Thank you so much
Very helpfull analysis of victors game. Me as an amateur just watch all these players and their game simply looks similar🤷🏻♂️ and suddenly one has won 21:5 and i dont know why😄🤦🏻♂️ this video helped me to look at different things and understand tactics. Thanks a lot!!!
Fantastic video, I can't wait to watch him in action in Tokyo at the World Championships !
Maybe you could do a video of players to watch, according to you ?
This one is lovely!! I have a question, my palms sweat profusely while playing, I have tried using towel grip with powder but even that doesn't seem to help.. using a sweatband on the wrist of the racquet hand tends to change the feel of the shots.. any suggestions would be greatly helpful!!
Thank you very much !
I really want such videos, i was thinking why he was so good, and u guys explained it the best
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Super interesting, thank you so much! On the physicality: would you be able to one day do an analysis about playing styles of professional badminton players who are short? Just asking for a friend… 😗
Great video guys!
Thanks Aggy 😀
Congrats on 200k subs 🥳
Thank you so much 😀🎉
Superb analysis. 👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Anand! Glad you enjoyed it :)
best badminton related content youtube channel
🙌
Am big Fan of Victor and your video explains why he is so good compare to other we can use this lesson not only for badminton it also works for any business or career as well…. It’s a superb motivational video and thank you and congratulations for your great work, keep it up….
Victor yt channel is definitely worth checking out. It’s not as detail as this wonderful channel, but it does show how he think about each shot and training.
The new king of men single of this era... So unstoppable.. 🔥👍
And No one can fight him fair and square expect for LZJ that give him quite good fight .. 😘🤗💪
Thanks for making this video!
Viktor Axelsen is great!
You’re welcome 😀 He is!
The Research and the Hard Work is worth it for this Video💥💥💪💪
Thank you 🙏🏼
If I may, I'd like more videos about placement and moves strategy. I know you did several already but I'd like a basic method to placement and goals to reach in order to stay hard to play for the opponent and easy to play for us. What to do to protect a not so good shot of ours till we make it better : smash, back-end and so on... ? Are there basic placements and moves patterns to keep in mind when playing that we could memorize? Thanks! Love. ❤
WoW . . . Grt Sharing
great video as per usual
Thanks 😀🙌🏼
It was really amazing and becoz of u guys , got to know a lot about victor
Thanku soo much ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great video!!!
Thank you 😀🙌🏼
Congratulations! Your channel is really growing! Love this! 💯🏸
Thanks Shella 😀🏸
Amazing video.
I think the player who are closest to Viktor at the moment are LZJ and Ginting. Still cannot win against Viktor but at least can force to rubber set.
Maybe if Ginting can reduce his self-errors, it will be interesting
Ginting is far from being consistent after all these years. He even lost to Lee Cheuk Yiu in one of the finals.
Lzj has started to be consistent in recent years, and the only one got closest as of recent match.

@@ChyeHeng17 Totally agree, Ginting just doesn't has the stamina for his own playing style. As he gets older, it will only get worse.
LZJ while having an amazing attacking game, he struggles when he has to go against players with good defense because his control game is not well developed yet.
LZJ beat Viktor at the All England on Mar 2021 which was almost 1.5 years ago, since then they have met twice, LZJ lost both time. So it's not entirely accurate when people put LZJ on the same tier with Viktor, at least not right now.
great videos, really enjoy this. How about making more videos from other diciplines ?
Thank you 😊 is there anyone in particular you’d like to request?

Axelsen is a great player. His dedication and professionalism must be the model for future stars. Greetings from Indonesia.
Ever since he started wearing a headband, he has literally been dominating other opponents..
Haha is that the real reason??
Such a great video! could you do one on Lin Dan?
Thanks for the suggestion! :)
Tysm ❤️
Superb Video and thanks for taking a lot of time and doing such a awesome video. Small question, do you think being 6'5 tall is advantage for Viktor, will he be this good if he was 6' tall ?
Thanks 😀 For sure it helps more than it would if he was smaller!
Great video, as always..
Thank you for the insight..
Btw, will you participate in the commonwealth games?
Thanks for watching! ☺️ and no unfortunately not!
Great video! Loved the recent giveaway too you should do more! Best badminton channel!
Thanks 😀 We’ll do a big one at 250k! 🎉
His opponents need LCW's XC net shot against those pushes to the service line, it was almost a vanity shot for LCW most of the time but its necessary against Victor if u don't want to lift.
Another Great one 👌 👍
Thanks ☺️
best analysis video 10/10
Great video. Please do an analysis video for Lin Dan and lee Wong chei as well.
Thanks! Even though they have both retired?
Very insightful video! Would be awesome to see you make video on why Lin Dan is so good, I've seen his video but i can never pinpoint on why is he soo good, to the point of being the greatest of all time.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Yea I’d like to see a video on that too. I remember Li Yongbo once saying that Lin Dan saw things on court that other players did not see. If you could beat a player like Lee Chong Wei almost 30 times throughout your career, you are the GOAT.
They also brought in Tang Xianhu to beef up his mental game prior to the Beijing Olympics.
This hiring a coach for the mental part of the game is what Japan should be doing with Momota.
Amazing Video
Thanks 😃
Daam soner or later or 1 day i can be like him thaks to you guys the more I watch your videos the more i get better thank you guys for everything
Another Banger Video!!! 😜
Thanks 😀🙌🏼
Axelsen is my favourite badminton player, it's just mesmerizing to watch him.
Viktor has the cleanest movement that I’ve ever seen, you can hardly find any extra move. And he also has clear mind and prediction of his opponents.
