      Kirsten: mezzosoprano

Matt: lyric bass (range extends up into low tenor[!])
      Kevin: beatboxer, cellist, tenor
      former member Avi: basso profundo
Comparing the two basses, Avi could go lower and do other vocal tricks like overtone singing; Matt can go higher, and is more evenly matched with Scott in range, although their timbres differ on the same pitches. Scott takes bass lines when Matt leads.

Bohemian Rhapsody (cover) if you want your mind blown. Wizard of Ahhs (collaboration with Todrick Hall) for an epic retelling of a classic. Don't Worry/Winter Wonderland for a holiday mashup with Tori Kelly. If you're familiar with their Christmas work you may know Thank You (original), but if you haven't seen the video it's a Norman Rockwell painting come to life. You won't find anything from Pentatonix that you won't like. And the I'm-supposed-to-be-reacting-but-I'm-too-stunned thing... well, that's typical 😄

What's also cool is to go to their roots on the Sing Off. They are so much better now, but it's amazing to think of how far they've come. I was browsing through the CZcams home page and saw the thumbnail that you were reacting to Pentatonix "Mad World". I am a PTX fan and I had never seen one of your reactions before so I had to watch it. I loved your reaction and with your introduction I see this is your first reaction to PTX. You need to do more and you asked for recommendations. I take it by your comments after the reaction that you do listen to their Christmas songs so I won't recommend any in that category. Although, "Hallelujah" is not really a Christmas song, it was released on at least one of their Christmas albums so you have probably heard it. If not, that is a must (over 600 million views on the "PTXOfficial" channel). My favorite is "The Sound of Silence", and other songs that will be highly recommended are: "Bohemian Rhapsody", their two Grammy wins for "Best Arrangement - Instrumental or a Capella" "Daft Punk" (2015) and "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" (2016), "Amazing Grace", "Imagine", and "The Wizard of Ahhs featuring Pentatonix" (written, produced and directed by Tordick Hall). Two other lesser known favorites are "Sing" (a PTX Original) and "Come Along" (a cover of a song by Cosmo Sheldrake). These two songs are underrated, but defiantly worth a listen, They are happy, feel good songs that always puts a smile on my face when I need a lift. Here's a suggestion, react to an "Official Video" followed by a live version of the same song so you can compare the two. I've got two songs in mind, the first would be "Hallelujah" followed by the Christmas Special live version and the other would be "Daft Punk" followed by their "Private Performance". The "Daft Punk" one would be most interesting because "Daft Punk" is highly technical and the Private Performance shows them in what appears to be an office with no microphones and absolutely no "enhancements". I just subscribed in the hopes that you will be doing more PTX. Thank you for a very enjoyable reaction video.

Love you Hannah and welcome to the world of Pentatonix. This year marks 10 years since the world was introduced to this magical group on NBC's The Sing-Off. Since you loved this song, please check out these: Hallelujah (their most popular video at 607M views); Daft Punk Medley (first of three Grammy awards thus far); Mary, Did You Know? (from their first Christmas album); The Sound of Silence (my favorite of their covers). Keep up the great teaching.

First, let me say that the "and now you're all my students" always gives me a warm fuzzy and I love your videos. Also, what you should react to from them is their live performance of "Aha"...It's just SUPREME. If you search "pentatonix aha singapore" it's literally the first video. It's WILD.

Speaking of acapella groups, anything from Home Free would be great, but I'd recommend Helplessly hoping or How great Thou art

Hello Hannah, I am a recent new subscriber here and really enjoy your videos. You clearly have plenty of suggestions for PTX songs to react to and I look forward to your choice.
I wanted to respectfully echo Joanna's (and other's) recommendation for you to consider the band Home Free as a candidate for future reactions. I believe they are worthy of your efforts.
They have many great songs but I believe there is one that offers an opportunity to hear their vocal abilities in its most pure form. Their cover of "Helplessly Hoping" from Crosby, Stills, and Nash circa 1969 (also suggested by Joana) is a very stripped-down video, visually and vocally, that features the 5 members singing without the percussion effects. I am mentioning this one because of your appreciation of the PTX "Mad World" version and its "haunting" beauty. "Helplessly Hoping" affects me the same way every time. I believe there is plenty of time to explore the epic beatboxing skills of Adam and the mindblowing vocal gymnastics the band is famous for. Thanks and looking forward to exploring your channel.

Sometimes, when people see you are mesmerized, that can be a bigger compliment. They are fantastic. And instead of breaking into the song they are singing, and you look awestruck, that tells more than comments, sometimes. Harmonies are hard to do and if you just look stunned, that says it all.

Really enjoyed your reaction. I’d love to watch you react to Home Free and more PTX. I love everything either group does. But HF’s ‘In the Blood’ is gorgeous but often overlooked by reactors. Same with PTX’s ‘Dancing on my Own’ (which features their beat boxer playing his cello. It was right after their bass singer left, and the cello ‘sings’ the bass notes)

Ok, so I couldn't help but subscribe to your channel after watching this reaction. Thanks for doing this reaction and even though you said it has been a while since you've gotten around to reacting to Pentatonix I do hope after doing this one we will see more PTX reactions from you. Maybe you could react to their "Daft Punk" medley and their cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen just to name a few. I do hope to see more of these PTX reactions from you in the days to come. Heck, while you are at it...you might want to try your hand at some Home Free reactions. Not sure how familiar you are to them, but they are a country acapella group with many covers and original music. These guys are fantastic and seem like they would be a lot of fun to hang out with. Some of the covers they did is a recent release of "When a man loves a woman" by Percy Sledge. Austin literally killed this song...Wow, this guy is amazing!! They also did a cover of "American Pie" ft Don Mclean the original singer of this 1971 classic. There is a ton more they have done, but just thought I'd throw those two out there for ya. Thanks again for this reaction....The group Tears for Fears was one of my favorite groups back in the 80's. I had forgotten that they had done this song until I heard PTX's cover. Amazing job they did. Anyway, hope you are doing well and staying safe. Take care!!!

For a different group and harmonies that would make you weep watch Home Free cover How Great thou Art. There's another acapella rabbit hole for you. They won the Sing Off the season after PTX. Their bass has a five octave range.

Just found your channel tonight and was very excited to see you react to a Pentatonix song. They are my all time favorite! Here's a few others I would recommend that really showcase their talent:
    Sound of Silence
    Shallow
    Aha!
    Bohemian Rhapsody
Also- If you haven't already, Citizen Queen is an amazing, all female a cappella group that actually opened for Pentatonix one of the times I saw them in concert. I've been listening to them ever since, would love to see a react video on them too! Thanks!
