If I own the game through Steam, why does it need EA Desktop to run? I noticed it was mentioned either or for Steam & EA Desktop.
@raysellers8049 Yes it does work like that. As an example if you own GTA V on Steam, you still need rockstar launcher to play the game. That's how it works

Try opening the ea app. That problem has happened to me before but when I open the ea app it fixes it.

So i just installed this mod 2 days ago and i got a question, does the handling needs to be unchecked?
I'm usually play the game without any handling mods. You can try and choose what fits with you the most.
And where do you get the extreme stance mod because i already unpacked the whole story, online, and standard pack and i don't find it

Technically, you're playing on someone's PC, so the streaming PC should be the one doing the modding. Therefore, this won't work.

@@blahblahblah7563 probably it's ea online acting up again, I've experienced that a lot before when playing with friends and I haven't installed any mods yet. Actually, when I installed unite online it made my game more stable online, no crashes and I get invites right away now. And there a lot of videos here in yt that can help you fix your problem

Since I still have to go throught he story I suppose I have to rename the "Unite Story" profile to "unite-story" just like "Unite Standard" that changed to "unite-standard"?
Yeah, text doesn’t matter but make sure there is no space between two words. Use - instead of space
everything else worked but im not sure why the bot cars are sinking into the ground

This will take around 10-15 minutes. And all the mod files are free instead of the game. You have to buy the game on Steam or EA desktop.
So what happened to the Project Unite CZcams account and website? Invites to Discord servers are also invalid.
I think something went wrong with the group of dev’s. They handed over the Unite title to Heat remix group I guess. Now they are building up a new server and it’s growing pretty well. They turned down the website because it was unnecessary cost as they have everything in the server. I’ll update the Unite invite links

I managed to fix the bug in the mod, it loaded and entered the game but the mods didn't work... I opened the game directly through EAPLAY and it was, obrigado pelo tutorial
Hello Krayzee ! When I first came across this video, I bought a PC just for this lol ! I’m unfortunately having some problems running nfs heat unite.. I bought the game through epic games that links with the ea desktop app. When I apply the mods and launch the game, the vanilla version launches. I’ve just been frustrated as of now and would like more insight from someone with great experience.

Yes I renamed them with no space and a dash in btw like “unite-online” . I think buying the game through epic instead of steam might be the case .. EA is just so troublesome I tell you.. if there is any tips you could possibly let me know I’d be thankful man ..!
Sorry to bother you but what is the difference between nfs heat unite and heat remix modes ? they both look quite similar.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to play the game with Heat Remix, so I can't provide a comparison.

for some reason my extra stance setting are now showing up. and the stance of all cars is messed up. can you help please ?
If you installed air suspension on cars. Remove them. Buy new cars to stance the cars without any issues.

Hello, can you help me i followed all the steps but the FrostyModManager just opens the EA APP and nothing happens, i tried redoing everytime 6 times and reinstalled the game 2 times still nothing works, also try adding the datapathfix from your other videos, still it didnt work, I bought the game from steam but it still need the EA App, what am i doing wrong ? after i enter the encryption key , frosty mod has an error, it says "padding is invalid and cannot be removed"
You have a space before putting the encryption key. Remove the space by using backspace and hit enter

Once the modding process done, you just need to launch the game through frosty to play with Unite.

Don't use extreme stance mod if you are going to play the story
And make sure to use Story compatible pack to play the story (Don't use standard modpack)

Don't use stance mods when you playing the story. And use story compatible pack to play the story

Yes you need to rename.
When you applying the weather mod, there is a separate tab called description. You can see 2,3 screenshots of the weather mod from there

I followed these steps exactly but the Unite Mod doesn't actually load as I don't see the Unite logo in the loading screen.
Are you playing the game using EA play or Xbox gamepass?
@@KR4YZEE I managed to fix the issue by placing the Frosty Mod Manager folder in the NFS Heat main folder and changing the launch option in Frosty from Origin to Steam

ive watched your two videos and followed every single step and still when i load up my game it doesnt load up the unite mod just loads up the base game only, have gone back and forth and done all trouble shooting and nope still just loads base game

ive done install the same few mods in few month ago , and saved some modded engine swap
but recntly i reinstall the game and re do the whole mod process,
the modmanger and game both run fine
but the mods just dont appears like it used to
NOTE: Mods may not work if you have the games through xbox gamepass or an EA Play subscription. The Bioware plugin has nothing to do with NFS and is not the reason mods are not working.
You didn't extract everything in the Frosty zip.
You are not using the latest version of Frosty which you can get from frosty-updates
You installed the DatapathFix incorrectly as shown in the tutorial.
You did not disable your in-game overlay in EA Desktop.
You did not try setting your launch options to EA Desktop or Steam.
You did not set your Mod Load Order to List
Your PC's operating systems language is not set to English
Where NFS is installed there's an .orig file. Delete the .exe that's in the folder and change the .orig file to an .exe by changing the extension by renaming the .orig part to .exe
Delete the ModData folder in your NFS games directory.
Repair the game in EA Desktop or Steam.
Moving the game from a HDD to SSD and vice versa.
Clear your Frosty cache folder in Frosty's install directory.
Clear (delete) the frosty folder located in "appdata/local". To reach this folder simply press Windows key + R, type “ %localappdata% ” and hit enter.
Uninstall and reinstall NFS, EA Desktop, and Frosty.
Restart your PC.

Everything else works fine but for some reason wheel offset broke on some of the cars

No. You just need the latest version.

To play with mods, you need to launch the game via Frosty. Launching from the original shortcut won't activate the mods.

hello for some reason, the menu screen got really bright that i cant really see the car.
The reason the garage is super bright is one of the following;
You are not using the story compatible mod.
You are using the story compatible mod but your mods are out of order; the story compatibility mod needs to be directly under the main UNITE Heat mod.
Your mods are in order but your Mod Load Order is not set to List.

Did you tried clearing all files and redo it?
Try changing the installation drive to another. Repair your game using EA desktop or Verify the files on Steam
Double check the "In-game overlay" of the EA desktop and disable it
When I scan in the frosty mod manager the game doesnt come up?
Edit: I got it to scan it its just taking really long,its "writing cache (RES)"

If you want to play the default game, just launch it with the original icon or from Steam.
Don’t delete the frosty and the files as you can launch the game with mods whenever you want

If you are installing the mods for the first time there will be no Moddata folder. Just skip that step and follow the rest of the tutorial

I have an issue with playing the campaign, im using the story compatible add on, on the story compatible pack, with no stamce mods so it doesnt cause issues, have the mod load order set to priority and in the order that they suggest on the unite discord server but my game still crashes everytime i try to play a mission. Whay can i do?
try verifying game files on Steam/EA Desktop and redo the modding process
the installation same with online pack? whats different between online pack and standard pack?
Installation is same. If you have completed the story, use the default version. If you'd like to go through the story again (or you're playing for the first time on PC), use the story compatible version and put it under the base mod in the Mod Manager interface. If you want to play online use the online version. If you want to use the Online version with the story make sure you put the online mod between the story version and the main mod.
