I have solution for mods if not showing on steam version (sorry for my bad english) First u need to launch the game with the frosty, and if the mods are not loaded quit the nfs and open the game without the frosty (but keep the frosty open) Its actually works with my unite
This process worked for me after a couple restarts of my PC and everything else but cant account for crashing which i'm pretty sure it will. I did not download the unite mod i used my own liking mods off nexus and finally got them to work. The modding for this game is atrocious. Typically you would put everything into your main game directory (1st mistake before watching) but i guess it works better as a stand alone file. Thank you Krayzee for this video it helped. If a mod is not working for you it is either incompatible with other mods (google search someone might have the same issue) or it is outdated and the modder has not updated to work with the current version. Quick glance over on when the mod was last updated could give you a better idea of certainty whether or not the mod will work. Do not put more than 2 mods in at a time incase of incompatibility and you dont have to revert your game because of a simple 2 second take out of a file fix.

Just forget the orig troubleshooting. First of all I tried to mod the game using latest version of the frosty which is 1.0.6.3 and I couldn't pull it to launch the game with mods. So I highly recommend to use frosty version 1.0.6.2 And delete the .orig file and go back to steam if you purchased the game there and go to games properties on steam, verify the files. Maybe there will be some missing files, if there is something missing steam will start automatic download. Then start with all the fresh files, frosty 1.0.6.2 and latest version of the datapathfix if you own the game on steam. After that delete moddata folder, delete the frosty folder on localappdata using "run' Then start the modding process.

For those with their cars sinking into the ground it's because you have air suspension equipped so unequipped it as you no longer need it with the stance mods enabled. @EsBeDeSBD clear all the modded files and verify your game files on steam. Make sure to delete nfsheat.orig file in the installed directory if there is that mentioned file. And restart the pc and redo the process. Sometimes it works when you change the installed hdd or ssd
@@KR4YZEE So, I've now tried again, frosty and deleted all the files in the specified folders. Then restarted the PC, re-integrated nfs heat into Frosty, but this time without the datapath fix, which means I've already made a step further. When I press launch, it briefly loads the EA app so that the game is being prepared, then the window closes, then nothing happens, a short time later in the Steam launcher I see that nfs heat is being executed and then a few seconds later it pops The EA app opens very briefly, closes again and nfs heat is no longer running in the steam launcher, so it basically turns itself off again. Then nothing else happens.

Redo the process again. Before you start the modding get all fresh files, and delete moddata folder and frosty folder in localappdata. Then do the modding

Delete that file and verify the game files on Steam. Then there will be a small download on Steam. After the download go to installed directory and take a back of nfs heat.exe and nfsheat old file. Then run the mod manager and launch the game. Check if that .orig file creates again, then delete that file again and paste the backed up files to the installed directory. Then hit launch again in the mod manager
When I go to frosty updates to download the mod manager, it shows 3 red "dis" saying "dis has added Frosty Toolsuite #announcements to this channel. Its most important updates will show up here.- 10/20/2023 7:13 AM" and then 2 more with 2 different things he added and when I go to click on the white part where it says "announcements" for this example, it says this server does not exist. The only things that show up after installing the unite 3.5 mod is the visuals packs and minimalistic hud. Frosty cant detect the .fbpack files. So the handling and lowering options dont show up
So the mods won't load, I've tried every method except reinstall the game cuz I don't have that kind of wifi speed for the whole game, I also don't have the launch option to select and I don't know why then I thought it's not gonna work so I delete the manager and the mods launch the game try to play normally turns out it works again but because I deleted everything it only change the game logo others doesn't work properly, so I re-download everything try to apply again and it's not doing anything, the changed logo gone back to vanilla with mods apply

Did you unzip the optionals folder in unite 3.5 folder? Otherwise frosty can’t locate the weather files. If not, you are using wrong button to import weather files, use add mods button

Awesome video! It worked perfect! Until I did a reboot of my pc.. My game was crashing and nothing worked so I rebooted my PC BUT kept my personal files, I downloaded it again and now it doesnt even boot up the game. It loads and just when its about the open the game, EA pops up on my screen and the game cancels to boot. Any suggestion how to fix????

Fix for no mods loaded when game opened: So you want to open frosty mod manager and launched the game with it, after it launches to the main menu, exit the game, and open the game with steam / ea (wherever you bought it from). These fixes should help!

No just download and extract if it is zipped to somewhere in your pc. Then open frosty and press add mods button. Then apply the mod to the mod order. Keep it under main unite mod files

What happens if I use all the add-ons? Or if I don't choose does the game change the environment automatically after entering garage or while playing? I have very high end system so lag or memory unavailable is out of the question.

Just forget the orig troubleshooting. First of all I tried to mod the game using latest version of the frosty which is 1.0.6.3 and I couldn't pull it to launch the game with mods.
So I highly recommend to use frosty version 1.0.6.2
And delete the .orig file and go back to steam if you purchased the game there and go to games properties on steam, verify the files. Maybe there will be some missing files, if there is something missing steam will start automatic download.
Then start with all the fresh files, frosty 1.0.6.2 and latest version of the datapathfix if you own the game on steam.
After that delete moddata folder, delete the frosty folder on localappdata using "run'
Then start the modding process.

Question: The Extreme Stance mod isn't working for me
Answer: Stance mods only work in solo play. They don't work online with the story or with air suspension equipped. You need to re-buy your cars for the stance mod to work on all your cars and any weird issues you can just fix it in the stance tuning menu. For those with their cars sinking into the ground it's because you have air suspension equipped so unequipped it as you no longer need it with the stance mods enabled.
Question: I bought this specific car, and I still don't have the new stance tuning options using Extreme Stance
Answer: The following cars cannot have the new stance options due to unavoidable issues applying them: All hero, deluxe edition, and pre-order cars, McLaren F1, Aston Martin DB11 Volante, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport.

@EsBeDeSBD clear all the modded files and verify your game files on steam. Make sure to delete nfsheat.orig file in the installed directory if there is that mentioned file. And restart the pc and redo the process.
Sometimes it works when you change the installed hdd or ssd

@@KR4YZEE So, I've now tried again, frosty and deleted all the files in the specified folders. Then restarted the PC, re-integrated nfs heat into Frosty, but this time without the datapath fix, which means I've already made a step further. When I press launch, it briefly loads the EA app so that the game is being prepared, then the window closes, then nothing happens, a short time later in the Steam launcher I see that nfs heat is being executed and then a few seconds later it pops The EA app opens very briefly, closes again and nfs heat is no longer running in the steam launcher, so it basically turns itself off again. Then nothing else happens.

Previously I could open the game with mods and play as usual. But the next day I play again with the mod using Frosty, my game crashes in task manager and nothing happened when I press "launch game"
But without mod and frosty, the game is working as usual

Redo the process again. Before you start the modding get all fresh files, and delete moddata folder and frosty folder in localappdata. Then do the modding
Make sure to play the story line with storymod compatible fbpack. Otherwise game will crash

Meanwhile check your installed directory of the game and see if there is a nfs heat.orig file located there
@@KR4YZEE yeah, there's a file like that located at the installed directory
Delete that file and verify the game files on Steam. Then there will be a small download on Steam. After the download go to installed directory and take a back of nfs heat.exe and nfsheat old file. Then run the mod manager and launch the game. Check if that .orig file creates again, then delete that file again and paste the backed up files to the installed directory. Then hit launch again in the mod manager
When I go to frosty updates to download the mod manager, it shows 3 red "dis" saying
"dis has added Frosty Toolsuite #announcements to this channel. Its most important updates will show up here.- 10/20/2023 7:13 AM"
and then 2 more with 2 different things he added and when I go to click on the white part where it says "announcements" for this example, it says this server does not exist. What'd I do?

The only things that show up after installing the unite 3.5 mod is the visuals packs and minimalistic hud. Frosty cant detect the .fbpack files. So the handling and lowering options dont show up
Set "Load Order" to "List"
Always keep Unite on top, then handling mods, after that Stance mods, then other mods down below

So the mods won't load, I've tried every method except reinstall the game cuz I don't have that kind of wifi speed for the whole game, I also don't have the launch option to select and I don't know why then I thought it's not gonna work so I delete the manager and the mods launch the game try to play normally turns out it works again but because I deleted everything it only change the game logo others doesn't work properly, so I re-download everything try to apply again and it's not doing anything, the changed logo gone back to vanilla with mods apply

Saw you used specific visual packs, but there are many other packs too. So why didn't you used those or say anything about it?
They will make slight changes to the skybox of the game. Anyone can use one skybox for each time of the day.

@@KR4YZEE solves the issue on the M3 GTR but I mean the other AI racers in a solo race. They have ridiculous camber. I only use the basic stance mod

My game was crashing and nothing worked so I rebooted my PC BUT kept my personal files, I downloaded it again and now it doesnt even boot up the game. @@KR4YZEE Fix For Stuck on EA App: So you want to go to your need for speed heat directory, and find the "ModData" folder, delete it, and restart frosty mod manager, then launch again.
Fix for no mods loaded when game opened: So
you want to open frosty mod manager and launched the game with it, after it launches to the main menu, exit the game, and open the game with steam / ea (wherever you bought it from). These fixes should help!
