The problem with playing RDR2, is you never want to play any other game again! RDR2 makes other games feel empty
Stopped playing for few months, couldnt get over this ending. Truly phenomenal game.
absolutly true, been looking for a game that can do what RDR 2 did .... haven't found one yet. So after playing a new game I always go back to RDR 2 and every time I'm amazed on how much better this "old" game is compared to newer ones
Skyrim is the same way to me 😂
what a load of tripe. the whole game is depressing.
Yeayy true, my friend once advised me to play other games first before playing this rdr2. And i understand why he advised me like that.
Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would have been good aditions. Good video nevertheless.
Don't forget Fallout 4, that's also the best open world game too.
Rdr2 also
@@Prod.ByYoi389 Rdr2 is the first game of the video, what are you talking about
Zelda 😂😂😂😂
@@matthewrushworth7765 I don't know about fallout 4. FO4 without any mods is a clunky, buggy mess. And the game is clearly meant to be played by the male MC Nate. Because if you play as the female MC Nora the story flat out does not make sense. In the intro scene the male MC is narrating it. During this scene you find out he has a military background so later on when he has to save Preston's group. Since he was in the military it make sense he would know how to use the power armor.
The female MC Nora they don't even bother to mention her background in the game i had to look it up. She is a lawyer that has never held a gun. If she has never been in combat or held a gun how the hell does she know how to use a gun right after picking one up and how does she know how to pilot a power armor suit.
days gone is so underrated
fr i finished it like two months ago
Amazing game, my first ever platinum, will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Late message but I’ll think I’ll give it a try
I fucking love that game
Mad Max too. Very great game.
I would also add Assassin's creed Odyssey. Say whatever you want about the game, but no one can deny the amazing representation of Ancient Greece. It was nominated for GOTY for a reason.
I agree. Its not a great Assassin's Creed Game. But it's a great game on its own. Same goes for Valhalla
@@elistnsn2128 True. If they haven't put the name Assassin's Creed in the titles just Odyssey and Valhalla these games wouldn't get nearly as much hate.
I absolutely agree. Skyrim was my favorite game for years but once I played AC odyssey with all the DLCs it was a no brainer. I was so blown away. I love that game and how they portrayed Ancient Greece. My favorite game.
I love AC Valhalla . But now can t play .ubisoft games locked games for me. It s included extra ps+ but I can t download it . I did all installed back all licenses, rebuilt database and did not work
Wasn’t a big fan of it. I liked Origins a ton better and even Valhalla. The combat just felt so off
The best : Rdr2
Hands down
Boring AF
Oh yeah
Boring
@@Syedaahmd The game gets good once you reach chapter 3
@@Syedaahmddrugs are bad
RDR2 is the one for me! It could be the only one on this whole list as far as I'm concerned.
I really don't think there's many gamers out there nowadays who haven't played it though, so for me, It shouldn't be on the list
@@tgopaul57 fair enough, but to the people that haven't played it, gamer or not, they need to experience it before they die. It's an absolute masterpiece. My dad was watching me play it one night and then the next time he came in my room he wanted to play it hahaha! I'm gonna get him to go thru the whole story
I wanted to love rd2 but every time i play it I crave gta and end up switching back to that.
@@bobbyjoalfonso3949Just finished my second play through and thought I'd download GTA V as I haven't played it since launch.. Didn't last long, for me you just can't beat RDR2's immersion, interactions, story, details etc.
Imagine GTAV with all RDR2's qualities and graphics I'd never leave the house
Days Gone one of my favorites i fell in love with that game
I obsessed over Skyrim while I was at work during my first playthrough. It's too good a game for this list I guess.
Witcher team 👇
When im 90 ill make sure my grand kids let me play these games before I die 😂😂 what a headline.
Mad Max is one of the most underrated games of all time.
Definitely
I wouldn't go that far but it's great.
The only problem is the game feels half finished. The environment is beautiful, the cars are fun, but the rest feels very rushed and comparatively subpar to the rest of the game that was done right. Had they taken the time to do the fighting and especially the bosses with the same care they did everything else it would have been one of the best games ever. Especially if they had taken advantage of the already built-in game mechanics of ripping parts off cars and taking cars back to your shop. If they had made it where you could rob things off other cars like armor, general parts, weapons, wheels, tires, engines, etc...and then had full control to modify and build up any car in the game at your shop, I'd still be playing the game today.
I found it very boring and repetitive and abandoned it after about 15 hours.
The only problem I had with it is that it can get so boring and repetitive

MVP
Days Gone is definitely an underappreciated gem. 👍🏽
intro and outro RDR 2 says it all 😂
Any of these on PS Plus?👀
Damm Mad Max wil be if not th 1st game to get me emotional to th story line...th combat plus background sounds of th desert jst 😍
There’s no way an assassins creed game, let alone Valhalla is here without Skyrim or even Arkham city
I deadass just type the same thing 💀
Thanks for this nice list
Thank you for including Mad Max. Yes it’s repetitive and fight mechanics average, but it’s such a beautiful immersive game.
Great list💪
I think I played them all, A very good list!!
I've played every game on this list.
Now i can rest in peace ^^
wow that was a phenomenal list! i’m going to need Elden Ring its the only one I don’t have
Good to see death stranding getting a shout out - great game, the loop had me for months
I’ve played Red Dead Redemption series twice so far and it won’t be the last 🙃😎👊
Great video, Mad Max was a surprise at the end! That game doesn't get enough love! A little repetitive with the camps but a hell of a game!
Very good list!
Missing Skyrim, but you got my other 2 😁
A couple of personal ones I'd list are Forgotten City and Deadly Premonition
Fallout 4, mafia 2, watch dog 2
Great video. I'd add the Far Cry series to this, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Cyberpunk 2077.
Im suprised Ghosts of Tsushima is not on here as it received very good reviews. Kinda like the Red Dead Redemption 2 of Samurai open world games. Im looking forward to playing it as Im a huge RDR 2 fan and love games that are similiar to it.
Skyrim be like: Oh, nevermind. I'm too big for this list.
Skyrim is wayyyyyy to big 😂😂😂 that in a league of its own
im a street nigga who tote guns and spin opps
skyrim definitely out of this videos league
Only nerds play that stupid game
@@thepeopleschampion2088 nah im a street nigga and i play it 🤷🏾♂️💯💯
@@thepeopleschampion2088 Skyrim its much better than Assassin ThisGameHasNothingWithViking bulls**t game Valhalla thing.
Cyberpunk best game with RD 2 - both goat
Great to see ac Valhalla on this list. Big open world and one of my favourite games ever.
Cool video 👍
Nice, goodluck!
Days Gone totally agree 🤩! And Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima could have been in this list too.
Wooooow slept on so many.
Played all them ..except 3 of them or 4... ❤😂🎉 Rdr is my al time fav... also gta
Great list but a few games missing. Ghost of tsushima cyberpunk skyrim and to go back even further we got to add scarface. Also need a fallout game on that list. Most like 4 but new vegas for me
awesome!
Im playing days gone now. What a kickass game.
Glad to see Mad Max getting some love. Such an amazing sleeper.
I would highly recommend 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance'
Combat style might need getting used to, amazing gameplay though.
You forgot to add Cyberpunk and last of us and horizon forbidden west... best 👌
the last of us in not an open world game. Though it's a masterpiece for sure
Anyone here remember syphon filter? Best game ever
Great Game but not a Open World
Great list Cyberpunk 2099, and Ghosts of Tsushima should be on here too.
Cyberpunk 2099???
Yeah, love the Dutch van der Linda gang.
Who's watching and doesn't have any plan of playing 😢
Me😂😂😂
I have only gta5 🥲
tried several from this list and most are not woth to be on the list tbh. RDR 2 obviously since there is no better open world game to be found. GTA V is great but not that great, it's mostly overhyped ( I do play it). The witcher 3 I was bored after a couple of hours, don't see the big deal there. It's nice big and looks ok, but it's so boring.
The list doesn’t feel complete without a Far Cry game in there. Far Cry 5 had some of the best graphics and a cool story and characters to go along. And the post apocalyptic “New Dawn” was pretty dope.
i thought the video is about the classic games but yeah this is right. All newest release games are at its best but the best games for today are the one that you will be known for as a gamer and can make you earn money.
Ghost Recon Wildlands has one of the most beautiful open world map
I’ve played several open world games but RDR2 is actually different than others. You literally can’t stop yourself from playing if you start. The most interesting part is, unlike other games, if you’re not doing any mission and just walk around, you will never bored in this game.
Nice presentation, please do you have some videos for PS3 games
Skyrim, HDZ, Dying Light
Days Gone & the crew 2
I'd add Sleeping Dogs to this list, very underrated. Great story and combat
Glad you understand that it's too good even best
The game on the thumbnail looks fun
They always do this. They always put thumbnails for things that don't seem to exist. Chances are that they're UE5 tests/projects and not from actual (secret) games...
@newhoboken9944 if what's what your saying ik it's fake
Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy & The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild should be on here.
None of those games belong there
@@thepeopleschampion2088 They’re all top tier open world games. What’re you on about?
@@Kippzy I disagree. Most gamers would agree with me because those games didn’t sell all to well.
Yes cyberpunk 2077
@@thepeopleschampion2088 If you're going by sales, according to Statista, Hogwarts was the top selling game of 2023. And Zelda is one of the best selling games of all time.
Like others said, Cyberpunk, Ghost of Tsushima and I'd like to add, The Rise of the Ronin.
i have played all of them.. but i wonder ghost of tsushima:D
If you like that game, you should play "The Rise of the Ronin".
It's coming to pc soon!!
Days Gone!! I clicked this video and thought Days Gone has to be on this 😁😄
Sick
Plus: Horizon
Minus: Assassin Creed
Mad Max out
Dying Light in
Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Arkham knights is a must have for such a list
Cervantes thought that someday knight stories might not be written. Appearantly, some people wrote it and let you be the knight.
thanks
CYBERPUNK 2077?
Without mods it's not that impressive
@@Andrewtate200 update v2.12 is just like a new game
@@Afgwolf93 I agree, but I still install a lot of mods. Now I'm waiting for a new update to install mods
The title really got me😂
Ghost of Tsushima is easily one of the best open world games ever. Just the landscapes alone make it tops. Its one of the most beautiful looking games to date.
Tha last of us 2 ?))) 🔥🎮 the most beautiful Game in the world!! ❤️💯
It's not open world
@@Wayne_502Boy Yes, I completely agree with you)
@@abdoo007 regardless the last of us 2 is a beautiful and amazing game
Rd2 is otherworldly but days gone is so damn fun!!!
oh bro !! , finally i watch your video before die
(+)
Skyrim
Mass effect legendary ed (trilogy)
Horizon zero dawn
Ghost of Tsushima
This is the best
'TOP 10 Best Open World Games You Must Play Before You Die'
Well, it's kinda hard to play them after you died
That’s why it says “Before”😂
HENCE THE WORD BEFORE 😬
Finished rdr2, now will start with AC valhalla
Definitely ghost of tsushima should be on here, great list nonetheless
Horizon series are amazing as well.
Sekiro ,blood borne are the games you must definitely play before anybody dies .
Ever played Sleeping dogs?
It's a pity we won't be getting a sequel any way, but it was an awesome game.
And the story was really intriguing.
Easily one of my favorite open world games and id consider it a cult classic now. They are just leaving money on the table by not continuing the series. Fantastic story, unique melee based combat, and an open world setting rarely seen (besides maybe yakuza on a way smaller scale). Shit even stealing cars was unique with how you could be driving one and jump onto another like some kung-fu action movie. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't played it, and it's usually cheap af
Sleeping dogs is the 3rd game in the true crime series
Ngl i was gonna blow a fuse if you didn't include Mad Max on this list! 😅
I would also recommend Ghost Recon Wildlands.
P.S. I used to hate Brakepoint, but after 70 hours of playtime, I actually love it and I play it more than Wildlands.
Forgot that one....
Dude, i was looking for this post and you did it. Thanks!! Wildlands is beautiful and I still play it finally even after 7 years of entry.
He said BEST open world games. Read correctly
@@arthurmorgan4252 Ghost Recon Wildlands is open world. Please check.
That is a good action adventure game to
Where is the last of us 2, ghost of touchima, horizon zero down, uncharted 4, god of war 4?
this list is realy not a representative list for good open world games. Some of them are but most are not worth it to be in this list.
Great List but incomplete.....without Ghost of tsushima, God of War Ragnarok .......Days gone is simply the best open world game but its highly underrated
Should have mentioned rdr2 at last as #1
No Skyrim is WILD
For me any list of best open world games can't be completed without cyberpunk 2077, but I did not play some of the other titles, so what do I know.
Whats the game in the video screenshot? with the blackman and cabs
Probably concept gameplay. Clickbait
I was wondering the same thing
What's the best for the series x? Asking for a friend!
You forgot to add Far Cry 3 to the list 😤
I have 5 out of 10 ,the first 4 games and the last one
Sleeping dogs should be easily on the list AC Valhalla , Spiderman and Death Stranding is there
Sorry, but as much as I love and like all the games on this list, save for the racing game and Mad Max because I never played it, The Witcher is definitely the best open world game ever made so far. RDR2 right behind it with AC Valhalla in the 3rd spot for my top list. And now that I’ve seen this video I’m definitely going to have to give Mad Max a shot.
Watchdogs2 / legions, nah you tripping 😑😂
I’m surprised fallout 4 didn’t make an appearance on this list.
I played and owned most of these games
I prefer Batman Arkham Games than spiderman
agreed
Yall crazy spider man is way better than
@@isaacsmith2245 but arkham games are tooo good at their times , they are also underreted games atleast you need to play batman arkham knight , no offence btw
it would be good if its storage was also mentioned
Horizon zero dawn/forbidden west, Arkham knight , Rise of the tomb raider, infamous second son,
Ghost Recon Wildlands & Tom Clancy's The Division both should be on here
Redemption 2 and mad max 2 🥰🥰👍🏻👍🏻
