Ramayan - the biography of Ram was written by Valmiki in the Treta Yuga - the second in the series of Maha Yuga. It was referred as Adi Kavya meaning ‘The Original/First poem’. Being the first of its kind, Valmiki was highly praised for his work and Ramyana was well accepted by scholars and society.
Often classified as ‘Itihasa’ meaning History, Ramayana is undoubtedly the only book that occupies a special place in every Hindu household. There is plenty of evidence, from manuscripts, archeology, astrology that support the integrity of events that have been narrated in Ramayana.
A decade ago, Institute for Scientific Research on Vedas (I-SERVE) took up the daunting task of diving into the shlokas of the original Valmiki Ramyana. The aim was to find any mentions of dates related to the numerous incidents specified in Ramayana. This exploration was not just limited to Lord Ram’s date of birth. Based on the information available in Valmiki Ramyana, scientists were able to come up with the dates of many incidents that were mentioned in the text.
Today Saroj Bala, the director of I-SERVE concluded that that they have enough evidences to prove that Ramayana and Mahabharata were historic and not mythological texts. She says that as per their findings, Ramayana references goes back to 7,000 years, whereas Mahabharata goes back to 5,000 years back.

Yuga definition differs and the one definition of million years should not be taken literally. Watch Nilesh Oaks work on yuga definition and dating of Mahabharata and Ramayan. He has proved it in most convincing and scientific way.

Some people who work in Marine Archaeology, land Archaeology and related fields say Shri Ram Setu is about 1.7 million (17 lakh) years old! Let some learned scholars sit and authentically settle the times of Mahabharat and Ramayan. Till then no 'publication' of confusing dates.

Great work , but around 5112 years ago the Dwaparyug took place including the events on krishna leela and the Mahabharata. The Ramayana took place in the Tretayuga. Lord Rama's birth should be 873100 years ago??? Not even sure about that myself.
I thing the same planetery motions repeat in many years, just how the precession of earth occurs every 26000 years. So there might be a chnce that these positions occured around 8.6 million years ago too

Just one clarification on the birthday of Rama and why we celebrate in the month of March or April. Chaitra or chithra is a Hindu month, which falls in April or March. And Chaitra is the first month of the calendar and almost each part of India celebrate it has new year in their own way.
Chaitra is the last month of Hindu Calender in Nepal
I think new years are around harvest times. It would be interesting to explore different ethnicities having different new year which would indicate different maim crops they grew where they inhabited and other impacts.

Having gone through both these ancient texts, one can easily understand that these are historical truths. Those who believe its myth, have not read & understood the detailed astrological timings of planetary constellation mentioned in these texts in various significant occassions and detailed geographical explanation of Rama's ayana ( Rama marga), nor detailed botanical significance of various places he went through. Also, there are detailed history of significant places as explained by Sage Viswamitra in 'Bala kanta' and also during their journey to Lanka during 14 years exile.
The modern education had blinded the human vision, due to hypocrisy, declined intelligence, no quest for understanding truth but to denigrate the humanity in the past, creating false impression about the society in the past etc...

Info is not credible and practical. When Ram was born, Dwarka did not exit. The oldest credible date for the Dwarka which is under the sea near Gujarat is around 13000 years old. This can be verified with the help of Indian Archeological Society. Keeping these facts in mind every date mentioned in this video is false.
Some westerner could not digest that Indian culture is so old and presented the concept of 5000 yr Indian culture.

I am not a scientist but I know logic. With modern technology when we know something is 13000 yrs old and we want to back trace something older than that period. Then how on earth can it be only 7000yrs old?

Today We are living in Kali Yuga of 28th MahaYuga cycle,
but Ramayana occurred in Treta Yuga of 24th Mahayuga cycle.
It might be possible that life span of an individual may be more during that time(1,81,49,108 years ago.),
and Lord Sri Ram would have ruled for 11000 years, as per Valmiki Ramayana.

So according to Valmiki Ramayana translated by Bibek debroy it has been clarified that for a king who follows his Raj dharma, one year is equal to 1000 years. So when Maharishi mahayogi valmiki maharaj indicates 11000 years it means Maryada purushottam prabhu Shri Ram ruled ayodhya nagri for 11 years after which he entered Vaikund Dham after establishing Dharma in the form of Lord Vishnu.This is how Prabhu shri Ram became immortal in our lives.

As far as I have researched Ram born in end of treta yug which means atleast 838000 of Dwapar yug + 5000 years of kali yug which means Ramayan happened atleast 1 million year ago so much so that Hanuman is vanar which is not monkey and by scientific research 1.4 million year their are 2 species of human one is homo sapiens which didn't extinct mean we human of today and homo erectus who have larger head just like vanars who went extinct like 1 million year ago so this can be a best explanation for Ramayan also after so much time axis of earth shift which effectively make some if the event identical of if we check properly we can produce exact date when ram was born

These Yugas are very long periods of time . Kali yuga is 432, 000 in duration, Dwapaar is 864,000 , Treta 1,296,000 years and Satyuga is 1,728,000. THIS Was explained by Sri Prabhupada.
If you take Maha yugas into consideration, Ramayana happened in the Treta yuga of the 24th Mahayuga and we are currently in the Kaliyuga of the 28th Mahayuga.
1 Mahayuga = 4.3 million years
There is a difference of 4 yugas between 28th and 24th Mahayuga. 4.3 million x 4 = ~17.2 million years. So, as per these calculations, Ramayana happened 17.2 million years ago.

So Ramayana happened at the end of Treta yug and Mahabharat happened at the end of Dwapar yug, and now is Kalyug. Length of Treta yug was 1,296,000 years and length of Dwapar yug was 864,000 years. Still Ramayana happened just 7000 years back. It doesn't calculate very well.
This may still add up to an extent if you say that these are Devine years and not human years. But that will be too long !

It was mentioned in Srimadh Bhagavatham as Lord Rama lived on this earth for nearly 10,000 years. If that is true then how come we can celebrate his 7135th birthday on 2021.
Also one another question. It was predicted in puranas as 1 Maha Yuga is the combination of Krita Yuga (Sathya Yuga) (1728000 years), Treta Yuga (1296000 Years), Dwapara Yuga (864000 Years), Kali Yuga (432000 Years).
With the birthday of Lord Rama as, we will be celebrating his 7135th Birthday on 2021. Which merely means that two yuga's were passed on this with in this time.

According to Sage Valmiki, Lord Rama's one day of reign was equivalent to one human year. Because it was said to be believed that what a normal king would attain in one year, Lord Rama would attain that in one day! As Lord Rama ruled Ayodhya for three decades, it's concluded metaphorically that he ruled for 11,000 years.

Celestial bodies move in repeating cycles. So any configuration would repeat at some timescale.
How do they know which cycle? 5000BCE or the previous cycle when the same configuration happened?

11000 Years = 11000 days = 30 Years of rule (in most crucial time day consider as year, same calculation took when Lakshmana wanted to go Ayodhiya after 14days, same thing happened in Mahabharat)

But I have a doubt:- Treta Yuga is billions of years in time span. And dwapara yuga is also billions of years old. Then now its kali yuga. So ramayana happened in treta yuga which means billions of years ago. So how the dates are not matching?? Can you explain this please.
Lord ram appeared in 24th yuga cycle. That is 18.6 millions years ago.
