  • What's the difference between MAS and MAIS in Portuguese? The words MAS and MAIS get easily confused in Portuguese, by both foreigners and native speakers, because they have pretty similar pronunciations. However, they mustn't be used interchangeably. In today's lesson, you are going to learn how to use MAS and MAIS accurately, how to pronounce them, and how to expect Brazilians to pronounce them, since that varies depending on the speaker's accent.
